perfect to hold my tarp while car camping.

I find these versatile. I like that the top comes off to slip through a grommet. I like the way to twist and extend the poles. I like the rubber feet at the bottoms that grabs the ground.

It seems as if you need to use two guy lines for each pole for a total of 4 lines per set of two poles. The set only comes with 2 guy lines and two stakes …. I am confused by this … and now need to go buy more lines and stakes. Also not sure if the guy lines are supposed to attach to the pole through the two loops at the top of the pole or through the grommets of the tarp. I have spent a lot of time on the internet today researching this but there are so many different versions of how to do this …. Hikeman really needs at least some better video directions. One that I did find was ver short and very fast. Not particularly helpful.

This is not a hiker's tent pole! Nor is it advertised as such. But, it is an adjustable set of 2 poles that work to hold a tarp over my back deck to protect primarily against the sun, but also the rain. The Jersey Shore gets a lot of wind. So build sockets for the base, and use a heavy tarp, and guy lines. Um, well, yeah, take it down prior to a hurricane! They would work with a small travel trailer, too!

These poles are nice and thick and lock securely. The carrying bag is a good quality material too.

If you want it get it, I have no issues with this product.Update: I have used these poles quite a few times since I got them, they have withstood high winds and terrential rains at full extension, that have flexed a little but nothing permanent. I'm honestly impressed and happy with them. My only wish is that they made taller ones. Looking for a set of 9ft poles and I wish Hikeman made a set.

For the intended purpose the poles work and they work well. After using it on my latest camping trip they held up the canopy with only a few issues. The locking mechanism broke so now it only tightens when the pole is maxed out in length.

The only negative thing I could say is I wish the locking mechanism was better. I've had gusts of wind collapse them other than that great to have

Brilliant bit of kit, when locked at desired length it stays there .I use them for holding up camper van pop top roof as roof lifters are a bit tired.Super strong.

Die Zelt- bzw. Tarpstangen sind toll. Super leicht zum Ausziehen und Einstellen auf die Größe des Tarps oder der (Zelt-)Plane.Wir haben eine einfache Abdeckplane als Tarp genutzt und das „Zelt“ steht seit über zwei Wochen (bei Regen, Wind sowie bei Sonne, Hitze) aufgebaut bei uns im Garten und hält bombenfest. Der Aufbau war nach zweimaligen ausprobieren bzw. Versuchen auch kein Problem mehr das alleine zu stemmen. Die mitgelieferten Heringe sowie die beiden Schnüre sind qualitativ sehr gut. Die Verstautasche ist qualitativ gut und beschriftet, somit auch für die nächste Sommer-Saison wieder auffindbar bzw. zuordbar. Guter Kauf, würde mich für die beiden Stangen wieder entscheiden. 👍
