9" Hand Forged Carbon Steel Mosaic Pin Wood Handle Hunting Knife, Brown (Model: HS-4424)

This is a inexpensive knife of questionable steel quality made in Pakistan. The blank it was punched from maybe hand forged but the blade itself is not. The knife did come with a very decent leather sheath. It is 1/8 thick steel and full tang with brass pins and a mosaic in the wood handle. The knife came to me very dull with a lightly sharpened edge that was very rough. I have the knife sharpening experience and equipment to work on a knife that is not ready to go out of the box. If your looking for something ready to go out of the box, this isn't for you. I do like this knife, fit and feel in the hand is very good ! I sharpened mine at 19 Degrees and stropped to a very keen edge . I like the rustic look of the knife and the feel of it but if you don't have the sharpening equipment and skills, this NOT a out of the box knife and wouldn't be good for you.

Knife is an excellent scanner, heavy duty blade sharpens easily and has a comfortable grip

Didn’t expect much for price but is a good knife for the price. Not hand made but still made good. Sheath is very nice

The metal work on this knife is pretty nice. The handle is really rough. The wood is gouged around every piece of brass and every piece of brass is proud and uneven. It took a couple if hours to fix. I'm sure the quality varies, but I'll keep this one after all the work I put into it.

So i kinda knew what i was getting into when i bought this based on video reviews saying similar things. As you can see in my pictures quality control doe not exist. The blade is not straight. The edge isn't sharp as you can feel the burs on the blade. It came super oiled up to prevent rust due to the high carbon yet it was rusted 😆. The handle came waxed making it slippery. Overall it's a meh.

Ok knife for bushcraft definitely better out there but gets you started

Love it!! Nice thick blade, Great and thick oil tanned leather sheath, Mosaic pin on each side. Gonna buy another! I like it cause it Looks like an Old School hand made knife. Not perfect fit and finish, but thats what I like. Easy to personalize. Edit: If you want something shaving sharp out of the box, this isn't it. If you cant sharpen a knife you wont like it.
