us inside and outside for ivy, pothos, etc. not too tall so can fit in shelf space

Nice shape and design for my Jade and round cactus plants.Shallow design should drain better.

These planter bowls are perfect for my rock garden. The one drain hole isn't enough for good drainage, so I drill about 20 holes all over the bottom and lower sides and then sink them into the rock garden. I also just set them on the rocks and pile more rocks around them for a contrast in height. A great planter for Adeniums and succulents, and easy to work with. I love clay bowls too, but it is much harder to drill enough drainage holes in them, so I thought I'd try these plastic bowls. The price is a real bargain, can't have too many of these!

I had bought these bowls at local hardware and garden shops, but found that they no longer carried this size. Only smaller bowls in grey or black (ugh!) were available. These bowls are ideals for patios. They are lightweight and wide enough for seasonal plants and herbs.

This item should have holes in the rim to allow for hanging options.

Better use for a large salad bowl than a planter -- that is, if you don't want to struggle with the drainage plug that has to be removed. Not worth the money if one has to unsafely use a kitchen knife to cut around the circumference to take plug out after first trying with a claw hammer and screwdriver to pound the sucker out with no success. The drainage plug is located on one side -- not the center. Only reason a gave it two stars is because it would be perfect to serve salad or ???? at a large gathering -- without the so-called "removable plug!!!" Not worth the money!
