Bought to replenish stock that came with the original staple gun. Right size, work well.

Received these 8mm, T-50 staples just as my owm supply ran out after completing a job securing garden netting and weed matting to three inch thick, wooden edging. My staple gun is actually marked as a T-50 model, but I found I had to force these staples in with the keeper at the back of the gun. They do not slide in unaided. Once in they do not come out again like normal. I had to insert a very long bent paperclip to drag them out with. I have posted a short video of me shaking the staple gun AFTER I had already drawn them almost out, yet they still did not fall out as normal. Once in they did work and the chisel end seems to allow them to go into strong wood very easily as I have shown, however, I think I would prefer my original staples with the pointed, barbed end, shown in comparison in my photographs. I would also worry that a few singles might cause a jam in the gun or become displaced, thus potentially making the gun almost impossible to clear out without dismantaling it.I will give these a go for a while but I am not confident, as the staples definitely do not go into and come out of the gun with ease.I was pleased to receive them free as part of the Amazon Vine Review programme. However, I will not be buying these particular ones again when they run out.
