I used it to extend power to the other side of the bed in a Truck Camper. Only one side of the head of the bed had an outlet so I tapped into that outlet and extended another wire to the other side and installed an electrical box and this outlet. Chose this one because of the dual USB ports so I don't need to use adapters. My 13 year old Truck Camper doesn't have any USB charging ports so this is a nice upgrade.Have seen bad reviews for similar products describing screws not holding the electrical wires in place. The screws are not meant to have wire wrapped around them. These outlets are designed with holes to feed the wire into and then the screw is turned to clamp the wire internally in the fixture (per the instructions included in the package). A very nice feature because the bare wire is completely enclosed and not exposed to fingers or metal objects. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars One major flaw *by R***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2019* So when installing these plugs, do not remove the screw that holds the white and hot wires in place. They have a screw holder in them, and once the screw is removed, the holder falls making this plug worthless. No where in the instruction does it say this.
