I love this iMiGoo coffee pot! A little difficult to navigate but once mastered, you love the results. My process is to buy fresh whole bean decaffeinated coffee, grind them into a course blend and then directly add them to coffee basket. Admittedly, it took some time to dial in what quantity of coffee to use and how long to brew it before I was satisfied with the results but it was certainly worth the journey; being able to choose my cook time was the breakthrough. My only complaint about this coffee maker is that it isn't available in a 12 cup model. I have purchased so called electric 12 cup coffee makers, which at their best, make very weak coffee; tasted more like hot water than good coffee. This is with the coffee in the basket up to the topmost line and doing 12 cups, you can't add any more coffee to make it stronger. A complaint that I repeatedly hear about electric coffee makers concerns the warming function after the coffee making is completed. My experience is that leaving coffee on the warming function evaporates water out of the brew which totally changes the taste of the coffee. If you're interested in maintaining the flavor of your coffee, don't use the warmer at all! Take my advice and that is, "Turn off you coffee after it has completed perking, pour it into your favorite container with a sealing lid and put it in your refrigerator or just let it set on the counter. When your ready for the next cup, pour it into your mug and nuke it in your microwave for about two minutes. The result is you'll have trouble differentiating the taste from the just made version; all thanks to no water evaporating from your brew. Have a Happy Coffee Break!!!

UPDATE: After about 3 months now need to update. First I STILL love this little thing, however, now it does not seem to keep coffee hot as long as when first received and also is leaking out around the top cover seal when you pour. It is also cheaper than when I purchased but still too expensive to purchase another one so soon. It is such an ideal size for my use but becoming slightly disappointed to see what is happening now. Just hope it keeps on perking and will deal with the rest I guess. Hope Amazon or maker will see this update and reach out regarding these issues. Another Update: Bought Dec. 20 last year and have to say so terribly disappointed now - the whole top if falling apart. So buyer beware - don't know if it is caused by the hot perking coffee heating the screw/plastic stuff that holds the top together, but keep trying to screw everything back on but only lasts for a short time. It is my hope the company/Amazon actually reads these reviews and tries to help.

Love the look and ease of use.....but after a little over a year of use the heating element is acting up. It mostly doesn't reach temperature, sometimes boils over, and rarely gets it right. Sad.

Demerits: 1) either the heating for the coffee has one setting or the post brew temperature raises to below boiling. 2) While pouring remember to press the lid and avoid the steam burn, otherwise it will leak. 3) The buckles for the lid to the basket and stem as well as the buckles from the lid to the pot are not well designed (e.g. fail to snap in place, fail to stay connected, etc.). Merits: Easy to clean, stainless steel, and no boil over. I am thoroughly disappointed about the lack of temperature control for brewing coffee because there are better, cheaper products.

It was good while it lasted. I loved it until it quit. 6 months of use and died. Now I can’t even get product support. Very sad about that part. Too expensive to just replace in the event that it’ll only last six months again.

It has no plastic touching the coffee during brewing. I can set it to auto run quickly in the morning before work. And it's easy to clean. I just dump most of the wet grounds and let the basket air dry. By evening I can brush out the rest of the dried grounds. Plus it's attractive on the counter and makes the two cups of coffee I drink daily. Most other percolators make way too much for one user. The only minor cons are that the coffee comes out really hot and takes a while to cool to drinkable temperature, and it's a bit hard to disconnect the basket from the lid. But if it holds up and doesn't break down, I'll be really happy with this little percolator.

My only complaint is that it doesn’t keep coffee warm like my trusty old percolator. Once you lift the carafe after the brewing cycle, it shuts off so if you like to go back for a 2nd or 3rd cup later, it will be cold

I purchased this little baby because I had been looking for a percolator for a very long time: space-saving, multi-purpose(hot water, tea, coffee), made mostly of stainless steel, with an easy-to-use intelligent base. It is much easier to use, clean, and store on my counter top than the Japanese coffee makers which I have been using so far. I am using an adapter with its three-pronged plug, and they work very well together. Pure Happiness!
