ESEE3 Black Sheath Without Clip Plate

Sell one with just the neck holes at the bases and get rid of the extra holes on the edges which make it too wide.

Great retention and sturdy but it’s a bit to shiny so I’d recommend you sand and spray paint it a more matte Finnish

I purchased this one to replace the nylon sheath that came with the rat three.

I have an old ESEE-3 that hasn't had a sheath since I don't know when. I had a kydex sheath made but it was for the Ontario, which is oh-so-slightly different, and thus it wasn't holding it firm enough for comfort. I grabbed this one, and it's as good as it can be. Firm hold, but not quite what I'd imagined after reading some of the reviews. My only caveat may be that the grommets are inset a bit, so a teklok mount will be canted slightly without extended screws. Not an issue for my application, just beware.

I purchased this for an Ontario RAT 3 knife rather than the ESEE-3. Along with the addition of a belt clip it fit the RAT 3 knife perfectly, like the old style (apparently no longer available ) factory sheath. Like the original Ontario sheath , these fit very tight at first (almost to the point that you cannot remove the knife) but after a few days with the knife in the sheath the plastic will take a set around the knife and it will get easier to remove.

Perfect, tight fit for my esee 3. All you get is the sheath, no clip or mounting hardware so make sure you realize that but awesome fit and excellent quality. Pick one up today.

Works perfectly with a OKC Rat-3 knife. You need to figure out how you want to attach it to your gear as it doesn’t come with a clip.

Got this to replace my green original. My Esee 3 is about 5 years old and this did not fit my molle attachment. The holes didn't line up. I got it working but it holds the knife like a vice. Hard to get out if in a hurry. It'll do for now. Could be because my knife is older. Not too bad overall.
