This little screen and case for the Raspberry Pi is most definitely my new best gadget, very easy to assemble and use and many, many hours of fun.The screen comes well packaged and is protected well from any heavy handed postal worker that it may come into contact with. Along with the screen is a jigsaw puzzle piece clear case which although it does come in 6 pieces as well as screws and spacers is very easy to assemble. I found assembling the case very easy, simply attach your Raspberry Pi board to the bottom piece of plastic, slot the side and end pieces in, connect the screen to the board (it will only fit one way) and then attach the top mount. this keeps the screen nice and firm within the casing and looks very neat when all assembled. The screen comes with a very good, useful guide which sets out step by step instructions on setting your board and screen to work together. You cannot just use an SD card you have been previously using to run something like Kodi. You have to download the Raspbian OS together with the LCD driver but this is simplified for you and is available from a given link on the Kookye website. Once you have a formatted SD card unzip the downloaded files, use a disk imager like Win32 and you're all set to get the screen working. The Raspbian OS loads very quickly and although the touch pen included in the kit works ok, I have found it far easier attaching a wireless mouse to explore the OS. For such a small screen the quality of picture is excellent for a resolution of 480 x 320 and even the smallest of letters on the screen are easy enough to read. The Raspbian OS comes fully loaded with Libre Office, Programming applications such as BlueJ, greenfoot and node-RED and even has a few games available to play too. This is definitely a great add on item for the Raspberry Pi board as well as being a very good item to learn how such things work, my nephew who has never really been a fan of computers has even enjoyed using it. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a Raspberry Pi and opens up a whole world of uses for the board other than just using it as a media centre device. At the same time as ordering the screen we also had an amazing kit from Kookye called the internet of things and as the title says it really has everything and is packed full of items to enable you to carry out lots of projects all in a very handy plastic case. This is where buying from kookye really makes sense as their customer service is probably the best I have ever experienced on Amazon. I received an email from their customer services giving me a link to the Kookye website which has many, many tutorials about how to use the kit and what can be done with it. Simply register a free account, install a smartphone app, install cayenne software onto your Raspberry Pi and you are good to go on your first project. For our first project we tried the "using Raspberry Pi to drive motion sensor and turn on LED" The instructions and directions were great and it was easy to follow. Within the hour we had successfully completed our first project. This kit is great for self learning of circuits and commands, within no time you will have turned your Raspberry Pi into a multi function piece of kit as well as its multi media capabilities.

unknown parts
I never used it as there are no instructions, not even a URL to help you out. I know it is mostly a time issue, but I bet most people will buy this and not use it. I gave it 4 stars mostly because I think it can be something better with some web URL included in the box. Save the paper.

Great IoT starter kit but is missing a few small components needed to complete all tutorial projects (resistors)
Great starting kit but the tutorials call for more than what is included in the kit, namely resistors for the LEDs. Besides that the kit is great and the backend service and tutorials are perfect for a beginner and up. ONE THING TO NOTE: GOOGLE CHROME HAS DISCONTINUED NPAPI SUPPORT SO IT WILL NOT WORK IN CHROME. Use Firefox instead (don't you dare open Internet Explorer/Edge!)

Does not include everything you need.
Does not include the resistors that are required to do almost everything. The tutorial is a tutorial on how to use a tutorial from a different company and is not done useing the same hardware in this package, and is not up to date (layout is slightly different on the site their trying to show you to use now). As far as I can tell there is no support whatsoever from Kookye. The comments are "closed" on their website for this kit.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I bought it specifically because I wanted an mcp3008 a/d converter...i needed it for a project. Came with an mcp3204. Incorrectly advertised part. I assume that I will find the same thing with the rest of the things included. Pay more attention to what you list. Really put me in a bind
