Good value for money, simple log slices, great for crafts. Gave 4 out of 5 because hooks are a bit short and only goes into the bark causing it to chip and loosing them all together. Easy to fix, but a bit of a nuisance if you have to do it with each one if them.

Really good base for pyrography. It's very lightweight and you do have to be quite careful with it as the bark does come off quite easily, but I just glued it back on. They are all nice and rustic and good value for money. Easy to draw on and all similar sizes.

Love the overall size of these slices however they are not great quality - especially if like myself you are intending on selling the finished product - out of 20 I would say at least 5 of them developed a crack within minutes of the plastic packaging being taken off one was completely split due to a miss cut by the manufacturer- I’ve oiled and glossed the remaining asap so hopefully no more cracks or splits appear from the wood drying out 🫣 other than the above decent size shape

Bought to use to write names on a display board. Amazing. Some screws did come out the top but they were easy enough to screw back in.

We have a laser printer and used these for a seating plan! Absooutey gorgeous and have such a rustic look and feel! However, unless treated, as you can see in the picture, and you need to use resin, not just varnish, they will split around the place where the in is screwed in once they start properly drying! Due to their size, it is impossible to avoid it by keeping them on their side, as you would do with larger log slices, but if you treat them with resin, it will stop them from splitting!For the price however - highly recommended!

I was surprised at how thin they were only about a cm but they worked a treat and I really loved the little eye to attach either plain or red and white cord through.. Very pleased

The slices themselves were decent but the bark around the edges is quite loose and the eyelets aren't able to screw in very well, so they aren't reliable in terms of being hung by the existing fitting. You'd need to drill into the wood itself with a very small drill bit and screw the hooks directly into the wood, but I suspect this means you risk splitting the slices as they are not hugely thick.

Several were unusable as they had scorch/burn marks. I keep them natural as part of the crafts I make so they were no good.
