Great for Underwater
I bought this to mount my Olympus Tough TG 6 camera and lighting system. It also fits the GoPro Hero 9. It is not designed for underwater photography, so I don't expect the lifespan to be amazing, but I took it on 10 dives and rinsed it afterward and I've had no issues. Also, for the price you can buy it multiple times and it would still be cheaper than buying the expensive camera mounts. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because you'll need to invest in additional screws and lock grips. Only one is included and that is absolutely not enough to provide any sort of stability for your camera. I use 2 additional screws (so 3 total) and my camera and light mount are very secure. I also clipped a bungee to make it easier with Shore Diving and when not in use.

Not what I imagined
Not sure how this is supposed to be any different than a regular GoPro stick. I was hoping that the “stabilizer” would actually keep the device in focus to correct for the motion (sort of like a gimbal) but this is not the case. Had to return.

1" Ball mount is on a single thread and spins loose
Perfect size frame for a Go Pro, the grips feel good, and the aluminum frame is sturdy.Problems: the Go Pro mount and two lighting ball mounts, all rely on a single thread connection, which allows everything to flop around as it tries to unscrew. Fortunately I tested these before diving. For the GoPro mount, I replaced the single thread mount with a flat mount with a sticky pad, and for good measure, epoxied around the sticky pad edges, and finally, safety wired the whole mount to the frame. I notice that better units attach the light balls with a plate and two screws. My fix is to coat the threads with epoxy and make them permanent. Also, ... it arrived with one of the 1" ball mount o-rings, split and lying on the box bottom. Before writing this review, as a courtesy, I contacted the factory, but received no response. Thankfully, you can buy more o-rings online (sigh). Not shown in the picture are the buoyancy floats (to be determined).

This is a great beginner rig
This is a great beginner rig. I used it for diving in Hawaii with a Go Pro 4 black. It worked great. The grips were very comfortable and the price was perfect. It is made really solid and looks super high speed. It is also very adaptive to just about any setup.

Quite comfortable to use
Did not break during first dive trip. Quite heavy. You need to be creative to secure the lights with additional straps to the stand as anything might happen. Will keep using it. Quite comfortable to use.

Mounting my camera and lights could not be easier. The mount is comfortable on my hands, and seems very well made.
