One of our favorite finds in Scotland.

Kind of expensive but so worth it as a special treat! I found these in the United Kingdom this fall and fell in love with them!

I bought some of these while I was visiting a British exports store about an hour away from where I live and they were delicious, the inside was creamy and fresh. When I bought them off Amazon the inside was hard and unpleasant. The flavor was still fine but knowing how good these can be made me disappointed with what I ended up with when ordering here.

I’ve loved this chocolate bar for many years. The only drawback is that it arrived in my mailbox when my outside temperature was 103F (39C) needless to say they were melted and not nice in appearance any longer. Shipper needs to include chill packs when temperatures are that high at the final destination. I paid for perfect candy bars (sweets) not lumps of chocolate and green goo! Don’t buy this item in October in The Southwest part of the North American Continent.

I have tried the chocolate cream, orange and peppermint and all were great. Not horribly expensive. Very hot here in Illinois but no sign of melting or deforming. Great tasting candy.

I usually love my English chocs but these are stale. Not anything like they usually taste very disappointed and could not return. Lost my money !

Arrived semi melted. Peppermint oil seeped through chocolate making individual bars hard to open and extremely messy. Good flavor

This was one of my favourites when I was a child and I decided to try it again now, many years later.Overall, I enjoyed it, but perhaps ageing has made me more critical. Now, I find it almost over rich and sugary; the entire bar in one go had me feeling I had over indulged. Perhaps there was a problem in delivery or packaging, but on opening, the chocolate bar was stuck to the protective covering making it difficult and messy to get at.Not quite as I remember it, but if you like peppermint, it is still worthwhile.
