Look and work great, but easy to destroy with wrong USB cable
I bought 4 of these and they worked great out of the box. Charged them for about 4 hours using 3 USB-C cables I already had plugged in on my desk and added 1 for the 4th lamp. There is no LED to indicate if it is charging or when it's done. When I went to use them for a dinner party about 2 weeks later, 2 of them wouldn't work and 1 got really dim after about 30 min. It took some disassembly and some figuring out, but in the end I had 2 lamps with charred IC chips on the power supply board. In case you don't know it, not all USB-C cables are the same. The circuit in these lamps isn't smart enough to regulate the current for higher current cables, so make sure you use the cables that came with them or ones with a low current rating (not Thunderbolt rated). .
