Works well but you have to be really careful so it doesnt get out of line. Because it is plastic, it flexes a lot. The first hole I drilled ended up being off by about 1/4" because the plastic flexed. I learned from my mistake and now put a clamp on the side closest to the interior of the door when I am drilling out the large head.Overall, it still does the job well and I appreciate that it can handle the different offsets and door thicknesses.

Works really well

The plastic guides don't necessarily direct the hole saw to precise right-angles to the door, so drilling from one side does not necessarily create a hole that will line up with a hole drilled from other side. And the small center guide for the latch doesn't necessarily go in straight either, so it's up to you to hold your drill exactly at perfect right angles (both left-right, and up-down). It would be a lot better if this jig would guide the hole saws to create perfectly aligned holes. Once you drill your holes, your door is wrecked if the lockset won't install due to the holes not being properly oriented. Fortunately my Kwikset locksets were forgiving and I was able to make it work, but this was on my own home. I wouldn't expect a client to accept "fudging" and would look for a more professional tool in that case.

Works great for the average do it do it yourselfer! I hung six new doors in my house without a problem
