The XLure R.T.U. Beetle Floor Trap features a paper filter soaked in wheat germ oil that attracts and traps beetles by coating them in oil, blocking their spiracles and causing death. With a compact 5" diameter and 1.25" height, it offers 6-8 months of active use and a shelf life of 2 years, making it a reliable, long-lasting solution for beetle control.

## Description

A special mix of food attractants is highly attractive to a wide range of stored product beetles & their larvae and is the key attractant. Tests have shown that these include: Grain Weevils, Rice Weevils, Maize Weevils, Lesser Grain Borers, Foreign Grain Beetles, Saw Toothed Grain Beetles, Drug Store Beetles, Merchant Grain Beetles & Flour Beetles. The all-round entry slit offers insects an attractive dark harbourage in which to seek shelter and is angled to encourage upward movement of the beetles. In the bottom of the trapping pit lays a filter paper soaked in wheat germ oil, which is another powerful attractant for a wide range of these beetles. Once the beetles fall on this surface, however, they get coated in the oil, which stops their escape. The oil also coats the insects spiracles that induces death...no messy glue used! Each lure cartridge is sealed to ensure it reaches you at peak attractiveness. The foil seal is simply pulled off and the cartridge is pushed into positio
