Quiet and cool!!
What a great performing graphics card. Completely quiet (no coil whine at all) and cool (sits at 37 degrees Celsius at idle and 59 at full load - stock settings).I returned a asus rog strix 3070 ti because the coil whine was horrible. To the point I was getting headaches. Decided to try this gigabyte card since I already have a aorus motherboard. What a difference. It's completely quiet, stays cool and performs exceptionally. I game in 1440p and this card excells at this resolution. Couldn't be happier. My pc specs for reference:I9-9900k32 gb ddr4Seasonic prime titanium psu 750 watts.

So far so good
The media could not be loaded. Love it so far, it runs great, no heating issues it's very quiet and I love the RGB. I purchased this to replace my MSI duke 1080ti and she blows her out of the water.I didnt realize it had a little screen until I installed it, but I was able to put my custom emote into it.Mine was brand new, not used. I was able to register it just fine and it runs great with my setup. It takes 2 8pin connectors and a 6pin I didn't realize so I had to order an additional cord. Overall I'm very happy.Asus Prime 550-plus moboRyzen 5 3600xDDR4 3000 ramGigabyte Aorus RTX 3070ti master 8gbCase is NZXT H510

Great Design, Perfect RGB, But No Video!
This card is big and beautiful. Great overall design, really like the space-saving fan design, the RGB is very tasteful, and the customizable LCD screen on the side really makes it feel premium. Definitely an ideal visual centerpiece for any serious build. However, the unit I received was bad out of the box and the issue seems to be more common than it should be for such a premium card.It refused to display video and could not be recognized by the system, no matter what I tried. I reset and reflashed the mobo BIOS, reseated the card, cleaned the contacts, tried a different power supply (I was already using a high wattage "platinum" rated unit, so definitely not the issue), tried both Gigabyte and Nvidia drivers, and tried changing every setting possible to try and get this thing to work, but it never did.It just sat there with its pretty lights teasing me for hours upon hours of frustrating troubleshooting. Swapping in older cards proved that the new mobo and the slot were not faulty. Clearly there was a problem with this specific card. In the end, I had no choice but to return. I will definitely be seeking out a different brand for its replacement, probably MSI to match the motherboard.I'm sure if it had worked that it would have been an epic purchase. Unfortunately, Gigabyte's QC can't keep up with the complexity of its new cards and expensive mistakes are slipping through the cracks. As such, I recommend looking elsewhere to get your high-end graphics fix.

My first NVIDIA in years
I’ve been riding the red wave using the RX AMD cards and decided to make the jump back to Team Green. I got a great deal on this card specifically and opted to buy it rather than go all out on a 3080/3090ti, and I have not been disappointed.Although it does lack a little in the RAM department, I hadn’t really noticed it like others have stated. The drop in frame rate was so minute that you wouldn’t really notice unless you’re specifically looking for it. It certainly hasn’t interrupted my gameplay. The card runs cool, cool enough to net me the 3DMark “Cool Under Pressure” achievement for staying below 55°c in a DirectX benchmark without any adjustment. Regular temps in RL gaming usually sits in the high 50’s to low 60’s running everything on Ultra. At idle, it usually hovers around the low 40's.I did notice that initially in my NZXT case the noise was louder than expected. However, after switching to a much larger Corsair 5000 series the noise dissipated and is much less noticeable. It does make a noise when booting up as it seems like the fan blades settle when the computer is shut off. This does go away after starting though. The only CON I have at this point is the LCD screen. It was almost one of the reasons I considered a different card as others mentioned similar issues. My card is not broken yet, but it is showing some pixel death in the form of a small pink almost invisible line which cuts my image in half (see picture). This did happen after like 2 days though, so I’m almost certain that premature death might be in the future for that little guy. This still won't be a deal breaker, as long as it’s just the screen and not the entire card making it unusable.Overall, it’s great card at a really good price, I'd watch out for future price drops now that the 4090's are releasing. I’m happy about its performance and it’s pretty cool looking. I’ve had this for a few months, and we’ll see if it lasts the test if time.

Great performance for a reasonable price
Most folks don't need the most recent gpu generation. You only need the fastest and most recent gpu for 4k - or the most demanding games. Even 2000 series Gpu's can meet many users graphic needs.

Not a 1080 Killer
Jesus ever-loving Christ this thing is a behemoth, I upgraded from a 1080 to this 3070TI, the build quality is incredible, the screen is hilariously configurable. But, it's 8GB, in a world where 8 begins to struggle at 1080P, it's very strong but not the upgrade I hoped for. It's very easy to have this card pinned against a wall with semi-modern titles at 1440P. If you get this card on discount, absolutely worth it. It's a strong card, with good cooling (thankfully, because it's a space heater), it's very fast compared to anything pre-2016, and truly just works, as is Nvidia 's motto at this point. But, it's not worth the manufacturer MSRP.
