This is my second buy , my first was for a (OHT), this is the best holder for these multi-tools , if you need the pliers first this holder helps to pull it out an make ready when deployed. This holder is all metal , the belt clip is plastic but vary durable 👍🏽👍🏽

I was looking for something better than the nylon sheath that came with the multitool as the OEM sheath tends to wear and tear easily over time. This fits it snugly. I'm on the fence about the design as when extracting the multitool, it will automatically deploy the pliers. I may simply want to use the knife or centerdrive to screw or unscrew something, so it becomes an extra step to retract the pliers. Also, the storage space for your bits doesn't have any retention and I worry that I may eventually lose them because of lack of retention. The belt clip is solid and I actually have it secure on a plastic MOLLE panel that I keep in my EDC bag. Very happy overall. Recommended.

I use my gerber multi tool every day at least 30 times a day while i am at work. I got this because my carrier was just destroyed. I wanted something sturdy and have the spot for the BITS. some of the reviews caused me concern but since i was using a gift card so What the hell. It locks and pulls out just as easy. It does not bind and is a quick draw. I will most likely buy a 2nd. The only issue i have and this is minor but for me would be very helpful. I wish that the belt loop was a full loop not clip on. I find i some time catch it and pulls it off. But so far I am ok with the loop.. The fit and finish is awesome and tolerances are tight and spot on. great job.

Pros, Nice size and appears to be very sturdy, cons the slot for the bit holder is way over sized and I had to make a insert to hold it securely in the slot, but so far so good

Buy this and throw away the one that comes with the tool.The manufacturing on this holster is top rate, the fit is excellent, and it holds the tool very securely without sacrificing ease of use. The belt clip is strong enough to hold itself to a MOLLE loop without any worries of the tool or the holster coming loose. I have been using this product every day for 2 months, and I will likely not have the need for a second one, as I do not fear loosing my tool.Most importantly, the costumer service I received from RAE GEAR was refreshing to say the least. USPS made a mistake, and RAE GEAR answered my call with a live person on the second ring and corrected the issue in less than a day. I was impressed.Every product can be improved, and I have two small suggestions for the seller:1st, the break in period for the tool to wear itself through the powder coat for smooth draw and holstering was a little rough. Slightly widening the side plates (10-20 thousandths) and inserting a smoother/softer wear plate opposite the retaining spring would be great.2nd, for this model in particular, one of the biggest advantages is being able to use full size bits in the driver. Adding storage for a few more bits (2-3) would make this holder stand out.Great job, and thank you!

I ordered because I don't like the original case that came with my gerber. When it arrived before 5 am I was super happy. I opened it up on my way to work and was pleased to see it's made of steel not plastic like I originally thought. The clip is super strong and holds my tool great. Never had my tool fall out and I wear it every day

After over a year of hard use at work I can say this was the best thing I could have added to my belt!It's super durable and has held up rain or shine, snow and heat. I work outdoors as a propane tech and really put my tools (and accessories) thru the ringer.It's very minimal, not adding any bulk whatsoever. It's also nice cause you could clip it to the inside of your pocket at well.Perfect tolerances to make it secure yet easy to remove.And I absolutely LOVE the satisfying CLICK when I re-holster it!I would buy again but I don't have to since this one is still holding up just fine.Highly recommend!!👍Oh and as mentioned, it's cool that you pull straight out to bring out the pliers instantly OR cock it slightly to the side and it comes out closed.

Update, the broken belt clip was the "belt" clip I need. The other clip is a "slid over" type which I can't use, it does not work on my belt as I have a thicker nylon belt for other reasons. So, I'm dissapointed in the broken piece that would have made this much more usable for me. Downgraded to three stars for this. It is now relegated to my trucks center console since it is too heavy to wear with the broken piece.Works great and holds the tool very well. It does pull the pliers out when you pull the tool out. Which is not a bad thing for me, but I didn’t expect that feature. When the tool is in the slot, the plier slider is in a recess and so pulling it out just automatically extends the piers. The reason for the four stars is a broken belt holder. Luckily it came with two, so I’m using the extra one. But the one that was installed has a broken round tab. Now to try it out.
