VMC Spin Shot Hooks

For being a thin wire hook these are actually quite sturdy. I’ve racked up quite a few bass on them and have never bent out a hook. The swivels do a really good job of preventing line twists.The only negative thing I can say about these are that you a compromising action for ease of use. In supe finesse situations I would recommend using a regular DS hook with modified polymar knot.

These are superb! i love drop shotting, but was really tired of the line twist with tying bait holders on direct. No line twist with these, at all. I've read they are weak at the swivel? Well, after two six lb. smallies, a couple 4s and too many under four lbs. to remember I have found that to in no way be the case. Maybe those who say they're "weak" should either try them first, or learn how to actually play out a bigger fish. I fish 6 or 8 lb line and the line is going to break long before the swivel-eye does. Thats a fact

I've had a few days where a dropshot out fishes my other rigs. This hook creates more action than any other while keeping the bait horizontal.

Bass fishing

Very sharp and strong hooks. Makes setting up a drop shot easy. Eliminates line twist. Why not 5 stars? The action does suffer, because of the play between the hook and metal wire, the bait is not positioned flat. I use this for moving drop shot baits like grubs, and small swim baits, and for this it works perfectly.

Wish I bought or knew about these sooner! They save time tying and are super easy to use!!!

I have used these hooks for the last 2 years. They work great and I have not lost a fish on them.

Problem I have with standard drop shot methods is that it seems my line twists after a few casts and retrieves. After using these that issue went away. It holds the bait in the right position and have held up even on large bass.
