Water Proof Leg Cast Cover for Shower - Watertight Foot Protector (Half Leg (Soft))

Just had foot surgery and can not get the dressing wet. And taking a sponge bath is really not an option. Can't put any pressure on it either by standing. So I was really hoping this worked keeping the water out. With the shower chair I'm able to take a shower without standing and cast cover keeps the dressing dry. Only have used it 2 times so far, so if it does not hold up I will let you all know and adjust the star status.

1) The seal on this was amazing. I had my right foot completely reconstructed 2 weeks ago. Will be in cast/boot for 6-8 weeks. Taking a shower was so easy with this on. NO worries about water leaking inside to damage the cast.2) The only downside. The seal is so nice, I needed my hubs to come in & slide the cover on. Because of the angle of the cast I was not able to bend my foot to get it on/off.This thing was/is amazing though!

For me, it was perfect in every way. Easy to put on and get off, no slipping in the shower, and I would recommend that you only buy a low pressure leg covering for a leg injury. I have been using it daily for a month now, and I'm completely satisfied.

Bought this for my brother as he had just had foot surgery ! thought it would work better than a plastic bag. He used it the day it was delivered! It made his life easier when he took a shower . It was easy for him to put on and he also said it did not leak .. it was two weeks before he would be going back to the doctor to remove bandages ,, I am happy that it worked also ..

I was not confident it would keep my foot bandages from getting wet after surgery, but it did. However, just a few observations.First of all, it is much longer than pictured. It went up to my thigh. I did not have a cast (just bandage wrap) so I could put it on by myself. I can see how you would need four hands to stretch the opening to fit over a cast. Overall, I recommend this product.

I've taken a couple dozen showers with this thing and it hasn't let my cast get wet at all. My cast goes up to the bottom of my knee and this easily clears it. I have a 30 inch inseam and this actually reaches past my knee which is fine.It's easy to put on. Just be a bit careful because the abrasiveness of a cast can wear away the neoprene seal.

I broke my foot and was placed in a cast for 5 weeks. I purchased this so I could avoid having to try to seal up a garbage bag.It arrived decently packaged. Build quality was OK - thickness of material is thicker than a Ziplock freezer bag but not a lot more than that. Neoprene sleeve sealed well and mine did not leak over the span of 5 weeks. It fit fine to my leg - but I am shorter.

This works as advertised and is a good investment if you need to keep a splint, cast or other type of leg support dry while showering. The neoprene collar is tight enough to keep water out, but forgiving enough not to cut of circulation or be irritating. The thick plastic has a boot shape, which is large enough for my size 11 foot without being baggy. Recommended!
