FructosAid 88® 30 Caps Enzyme Supplement to Degrade Fructose

After buying the enzymes, I wrote my doctor to ask about why I lack so many enzymes. my doctor told me not to eat anything that didn't agree with me because the doctors don't have a test to check on enzyme deficiency. I have IBS and my tummy is so sensitive that I am waiting to try these enzymes again until my digestion seems to calm down.

Daughter has fructose malabsorbtion. Tried this once and didn't seem to help at all and my daughter had a bad fructose episode over the holidays. I need to try it again after her SIBO treatment to see if it does help. Will update review after trying again to see if it does make a difference.** to those commenting and wondering what doctor can diagnose this: A Gastroenterologist.They test you need is called a Hydrogen Breath test, to test for fructose tolerance. This test can also diagnose SIBO (google it) along with a blood test or even stool sample. These are all the tests we did with my daughter before she was diagnosed. Her regular doctor had no idea about it, but we were luckily sent to a pediatric Gastroenterologist to figure it out.

My daughter has severe fructose malabsorption, she is 4.5 and had gotten so bad she was at a near zero tolerance. One small bit of fruit or the wrong bread would have her in a world of hurt for days. Before I found this pill she hadn't had one day for weeks without problems. She is still on her fructose diet but now she can easily have grapefruit and some berries everyday and so far symptom free. She was also given the wrong pizza so I immediately treated her with a pill and she had no symptoms, before it would have been 3 or 4 days of pain and many other issues. I wouldn't dare at this point try anything extreme but treating her with one pill in the morning with a liquid probiotic and vitamin d, she now can have fruit and if she does get something she shouldn't this pill has helped tremendously. She has been symptom free for 3 weeks for the first time in her life.

Although these do work for fructose, they gave me very bad constipation. To the point where I didn't go for a WEEK. Right when I stopped taking them my digestive system went back to normal.

I am thinking they work, have reduced some of my symptoms. I'm continuing to buy and has relieved a lot of anxiety.

Simply, does nothing. I am classified as IBS-C with Idiopathic-C, but definitely suffer under a sugar laden diet as well. I popped half a dozen eating my morning bananas, and nothing changed.

I have had a extremely severe fructose intolerance for over 8 years, Its a absolute struggle. Eating dextrose helps, but it doesn't fix everything, and taking plain sugar is so gross! Take it from me. Things that work for most people don't for me just due to my severity level, and I cant really eat anything. I suffer from lack of vitamins and fiber, and have tried everything. Tried this, and I had my suspicions, but it worked. It is a life saver, I love it! On occasion I can eat something healthy if I take it, and it allows me to get the vitamins and nutrients I need.
