I've used a lot of these now and I can't fault them at all. Being in the trade and installing heat pumps and a/c for a living, these come in very handy. Originally bought as a gadget for a hot tub I had at home to compare between an electric heater and hot tub heat pump for running costs. Worked so well I've started using them in customers houses now. Easy to read, easy to install and so far can't complain in terms of quality or reliability and I'm sure I would have heard back from unsatisfied customers by now. They're not a DIY install as you need electrical training/experience to work on any fuse board etc but they're not difficult to install at all. Terminals bite securely, no lose threads or wrung threads etc. Buying more for another job as I write this. Value for money

I am well impressed with these little units. The digits are very easy to read and it appears accurate. In particular it surpasses all the other plug in units which are often difficult to read especially in inaccessivle places and which are practically useless in the absence of a battery as their readings are los as soon as unplugged or if the power fails. These units retain cumulative energy usage and can also be reset manually when required. I bought two to make up my own energy monitors and needed a housing for them. Initially I bought two ASHATA 3 module consumer unit boxes. They are rubbish, flimsy, difficult to open and far larger than advertised so they are going back. In their place I bought two Wylex ESE2 enclosueres which are good looking and very sturdy boxes which will make perfect housings. Bet bit - they are only £3.55 each - incredible!! A bit of work fitting plugs/wantering sockets and I shall have two first rate energy monitors.

Bright, easily read display, though the current reading seems inaccurate when you work it out from watts/voltage (I believe this was mentioned in an earlier review).

Coloured digits make reading the numbers easy.

Easy to install on a DIN rail (if you don't know what a DIN rail is then you probably shouldn't be trying to install something like this), lots of info, easy to read, easy to reset. Accuracy? Who knows but no reason to suspect it's not accurate.

Very easy to fit. Fitted into "Wylex ESE2 Insulated Electrical Circuit Breaker Enclosure". This was modified with a small bit of filing.

Il misuratore si presenta bene ed è di bell'aspetto. Si monta con estrema facilità e cosa molto utile ed importante, il trasformatore di corrente è integrato nel misuratore. Riguardo a quest'ultimo, ho letto di tutto sul conduttore da far passare: chi dice il neutro, chi dice la fase, chi dice altre simpatiche amenità. Non è importante che a passare sia il neutro o la fase, basta che il conduttore sia parte del circuito di cui si vuole misurare la corrente. La lettura dei valori è semplice e chiara anche se la frequenza di campionamento, forse un tantino elevata, a volte li rende un po' ballerini e fa incrociare gli occhi. La precisione dei valori è assolutamente accettabile per uno strumento da quadro. In sintesi è un buon strumento da quadro, facile da installare e da leggere, fornisce tutte le misurazioni di cui si ha bisogno ed infine, cosa importante, di costo contenuto.

I have installed three units (one per each phase) as a replacement for old analogic amperemeters. Easy installation and works fine providing good information allowing me to check the consumptions of every distribution line at home by switching on and off each individual circuit. Unbalanced phases can be easily recognized in the display numbers if any. I found it quite useful for detecting a switched off LED lights circuit (30 lamps) that was permanently consuming more than 200W. Since the lamps were dimmed to a minimum (and not totally switched off) I was not aware of the consumption amount due to that fact. The reduction in my electricity bill will rapidly pay the investment made in these units and in two new switches. I include photos of the replaced analogic amperemeters and of the new units installed.
