Great files for wood carving.
I bought these files for carving guitar necks. They work very well for this application after a little practice. These files are very aggressive even on very hard wood. You can take more than you want if you are not carful. You will need to use less aggressive files for achieving a smooth finish prior to sanding. The only complaint I have is that there is no holder supplied.

Im so glad i have these.
Every single time i reach for these i am glad i have them. They do such a good job at every task i apply them to. Just be careful, remember they would gladly eat through skin faster and easier than wood, which they go trough like bread.Now i just need some good rifflers.

Two small imperfections
Upon arrival and before opening, the rat tail handle was marred in the manufacturer's box. The rat tail was packaged upside down (on purpose so that it would fit in its box in between the other two rasps). One of the other rasps had damaged the rat tail's handle.Also, leaked epoxy was visible on the handle one of the rasps. It had oozed a little from its handle and dried, but was still inside of the ferrule.Otherwise, no complaints.

Disappointed
These look great on the web site, and in the box. I was a little giddy as I broke out my latest H2H, (Had To Have), and it was with great anticipation as I looked in awe at this beautiful product from the Czech Republic. I just knew that "The Big Dawg" had made another classic great purchase, as I've done so, so many times in the past. I positioned my new rasp to my latest Masterpiece (probably NOT), gave it a decent pull, and, to my disappointment, found that the handle came completely off the rasp due to cheap glue. These rasps don't work so great when you can't use the handles, so, being the superior woodcraftsman that I believe myself to be, and verified by others, (right Honey?), I used Gorilla glue to put the handles back in place. These bad boys can now remove some serious wood. Be prepared to re-glue the handles back on because apparently they don't have Gorilla glue in the Czech Republic. The Big Dawg.

Geeat fine tool wood work
Vey pleased with theses rasps. Using for rounding off wood handles on hand made knives. Using very hards wood and these tools dont chew up the exotic wood and allow for strategic removal before fine sanding
