Essentially it's like an elastic belt that goes around the wheel. It's a very wide strip, and the edges dip really far into where my thumbs tend to rest. Not only does this seem annoying, but frankly seems like it could be a hazard if the fabric got in the way somehow. It's not like the nissan versa has a weird sized wheel or anything. I'm dumbfounded as to how this thing has such great reviews, and I have to add that even if it wasn't this weird shape, the incredibly malleable, not very grippy fabric would shift around on anything but the largest of steering wheels.I wouldn't just suggest avoiding, I hope there aren't too many people driving around with these things. They seem like they could be a hazard. I've never had that issue with any other steering wheel cover before.

I'm really pleased with this purchase, plus the great price. It was a bit of a stretch to get it on my Beetle's 15" wheel but that's also what makes it fit nicely without shifting. The texture feels great on my hands. If I 'knead' my fingers over it, it feels like my hands have been massaged. I especially like that it's washable.

This steering wheel cover keeps the steering wheel from getting to hot in the summer and to cold in the winter.

Update: Ordered a second one for my husband's new car and they sent me an empty Amazon envelope!Fits a 2017 Hyundai Elantra steering wheel. Easy to install. I like the way it feels. I wanted something not too bulky and to prevent cracking on the steering wheel from sun damage. Highly recommend.

We live in the desert and anything that is leather or plastic is SUPER hot in the summer. Our Honda Civic hybrid has a tiny little steering wheel that a similar cover that we had bought for our SUV would slip, which is kind of dangerous when driving! So this thing was cheap and I had low expectations, but it fits, doesn't slip, and will do the job of preventing third degree burns when it gets to be 130 degrees in the car (you think I'm exaggerating...on hottest days, I am not!). It's not as cushy or smooth as some covers, but that's fine. Just needed hand protection. Good product for the price!

This cover installed easily and I had high hopes. Unfortunately, after less than an hour of driving, I began to feel like my palms were rubbing on sandpaper. This cover uses synthetic threads and a very rough texture which irritated my hands very quickly. Will return and keep looking.

This is a great replacement for my old threadbare fleece steering wheel cover. Searched all over, but could not find any of the "old school" elastic fleece kind. Took a chance on this one and it's perfect. Easy to put on, feels good, provides some cushion but not too thick.
