Contour CPAPMax 2.0 vs EnduriMed. EnduriMed wins.
After switching to a full face CPAP mask and having issues with a regular pillow causing my mask to leak and leave long lasting red marks on my face I started researching CPAP pillows. There aren't too many helpful videos or comparisons of CPAP pillows, only general recommendations. The 2 that I found were consistently recommended were the Contour CPAPMax Pillow 2.0 and this EnduriMed pillow. I decided to buy both hoping one would fix my issues. The EnduriMed pillow came first and so I slept with it for 2 nights before the Contour pillow came and I was impressed. When the Contour pillow came I unpackaged it and started testing it out. I knew pretty much instantly that I wanted to keep the EnduriMed. Here are my thoughts:1) These pillow share one thing in common which is that they are both firm, or at least firmer than what I am used to. I believe this could be a necessity with CPAP pillows to prevent the mask from sinking into the pillow too much (which caused all my issues).2) The quality of the Contour pillow seemed cheaper to me and the design way more simple/basic. It's just a regular firm pillow with cut outs on the sides which might work for some people but never felt like it would for me. The cut outs were a bit too big for my head so that when I would lay on my side, the top of my head wasn't supported as well which would allow my head to fall right off the side into the cut out opening. The EnduriMed cutout opening is not as big. This of course means that if you have a larger head perhaps the Contour pillow would fit better but I don't think I have that small of a head and the EnduriMed cutouts just seemed to be a better size. Also as you can see in the images of the EnduriMed pillow, it has 4 cutouts which just allow you to flip the pillow around to give you a different fit which may work better for some people. If your forehead isn't supported well while your mask is off to the side of these pillows, the pillow won't work. Your head will fall off the pillow. The EnduriMed was a better fit for my head (and I'd guess the majority of heads out there).3) The side cutouts on the EnduriMed are much better. With the Contour pillow they are basically cliffs with a straight drop off. Each side of the EnduriMed pillow are more like a hill with a gradual slope to the bottom. They do this with a slightly softer foam in the pillow's cutouts that provide a softer less firm support for your mask and mouth area. This is so much better than what the Contour pillow provides which is nothing, just a cliff. This makes getting your head and mask positioned comfortably on the EnduriMed pillow much easier than with the Contour pillow which in my testing and trying to make it work was just way more difficult because you have to perfectly position your head at the edge of the pillow for your mask to go off the sides and not into the pillow.Overall, the EnduriMed pillow seems to be higher quality, a more thoughtful, smart and engineered design that just made way more sense then the Contour pillow which by contrast seemed cheaper and has a very basic design which did not fit me. That doesn't mean it won't fit you but I'd say you'd have a better chance with the EnduriMed pillow. It's more flexible in it's design which allows more people to find the right position/fit as well as having smart cut outs instead of dumb cutouts make it a much more functional comfortable pillow. I'm honestly surprised that the Contour pillow get's such glowing praise and seems to always be the overall recommended CPAP pillow across most websites I came across. Maybe I'm a dummy that couldn't figure out how to use it correctly, but IMO the EnduriMed is way better and should always be recommended over the Contour. I've been using the EnduriMed for about a month now and it's resolved all mask issues.

Nice quality but way too firm and thick for me
This is a beautiful quality pillow, and I can see how many side sleepers using CPAP full face mask would find it great. But it is way, way too thick ('tall') for me and firmer than I'm used to. I like an old-fashioned down pillow that sinks down under the weight of my head and doesn't bounce back. This is foam, it's bouncy. And tall! Honestly if it were half as thick I would probably love it, because the cutouts are great. It's just that I cannot sleep restfully with my neck craned up on this pillow. I've tried and tried and I toss and turn all night. Frustrating because I notice how easy the cutouts make using my mask. If you like a high pillow this one will probably work great for you.

Revised review
Although I had a problem with this product, the seller did refund my money. So you will not have issues if you are not happy!

lots of options
I am still getting accustomed to this pillow. It works fine for giving my cPap space when sleeping on my side, but I'm not yet in love with how it feels on my neck.

Very comfortable
This is the second CPAP pillow I ordered during my journey to make wearing a CPAP less odious. The first brand I ordered was clearly meant for a man, as it was too high. This EnduriMed Memory Foam CPAP pillow has two heights depending on which end you sleep on and is almost the perfect height for me, a petite woman. When sleeping on my back, it's more comfortable to sleep higher up on the pillow and when sleeping on my side, my head fits right where designed to. There is a protrusion to hold your forehead from rolling forward and off the pillow when sleeping on your side and my nose mask fits just right into the cut out.The pillow comes with a triangular shaped pad to increase the height of the pillow, but I just threw that away. Happily, the pillow fits in a regular queen size pillowcase, so I don't need to wrestle the specialized cover off it. A regular pillowcase also reduces the hospital bed look.I've had this pillow about two months now and use it even when I don't use my CPAP. It's weirdly comfortable.

Sleep apnea AHI score down to almost zero after first night
Worn CPAP a month.AHI score down alot from pre-CPAP days but still ranging from 3 to 9 and waking several times a night due to increased pressure during apneas forcing air leaks.Used this pillow last night and score was 0.2 and only 2 light apnea events. And didnt wake up once. Can thoroughly recommend. The CPAP mask against my normal pillow must have been loosening it and when pressure increased the leaks woke me.

I think I found the right pillow, finally.
Finding a good pillow if you're using a full face CPAP mask (Airfit F20 in my case) is like finding a unicorn. I've tried a variety of pillows - firm, soft, memory foam, latex, buckwheat... you name it, I've likely tried it. I've always held off on these special CPAP pillows because of the higher price and that I think they're just a gimmick for companies to profit off of CPAP users who are looking for relief in their sleep (which I find to be deplorable business practices but I digress).Well, after trying this, I have to say so far, after a few night's sleep, I am very impressed. No neck pain first off unlike other traditional non CPAP pillows I've tried previously. I find the firmness of this pillow to be great for me though some people might find it firmer than they'd like. But I personally prefer a pillow with more head and neck support instead of one where I'd just sink my head into. The little notches on the side for the mask were actually working better for me than I thought. My mask digs into the notches on the side nicely and I feel great sleeping on my side not having worry if it would shift my mask when I push the mask into the pillow and dislodge it off my face causing air leaks. My only knock is that the flat surface in the middle for your head and neck when you sleep on your back is a bit small, actually, the pillow in general is small. I like to turn a lot when I sleep and having to stay on a fairly small and restrictive area of the pillow kinda bothers me. But I haven't found this to affect my sleep quality, hopefully the company makes a larger version of this pillow to about queen sized so it has a larger flat surface in the middle.

Great pillow!
I was rather skeptical that this pillow would help my neck pain and sleep quality, but having read the reviews I decided to try it. The first night I used it I woke up the next morning with no neck pain! Having used it for a couple of weeks I find I am sleeping better and do not have to constantly adjust my pillow through the night. I like that it gives you options with an insert to raise the level of the pillow if needed. It's a smart design and I would recommend trying it for yourself.

Arrived on time
Very expensive for the quality of the foam. Hard lumps underneath. Don't think it will last long, but time will tell. Wouldn't buy another. It looks cheap and it was for a present.

hard foam
The memory foam is very dense and hard which is making it hard to sleep on.
