A very good mop but not really for home use
Leifheit make a range of products, including much traditional size mops for domestic use (25cm). This one is I think aimed at those who have a lot to clean and the build quality shows - high quality materials, a nicely balanced and easy to use handle and attachment system and a top quality head. You can't really use a normal bucket with it - it's too big. There are buckets available specifically for it though. You could those use water on the floor or spray cleaner - or even dry - all uses at which it excels. All in all if you need a mop this big, this is a top quality mop and recommended - just be sure you do actually need one this big!

A real timesaver
The Profi mop is a well-made and thought out product. It is quite light and easy to handle. The swivel action of the head makes short work of cleaning large areas effectively and allows it to access under furniture and fittings. The mop head fit positively on to the unit as there are securing pockets at both ends, being held securely as a mechanism keeps tension on it.The mop head can be machine washed. I was using the all-rounder mop, but others are available for stone and parquetted floors, and a static one for dry use.Excellent product.

Micro Fibre Head Mop
This mop was delivered on the day that I'd decided to tackle my kitchen and conservatory tiled floors, so it's been tested well. I don't live in a large house, both the kitchen and the conservatory are average sized so this large mop head made quick work of them.Although this is meant to be used as a traditional mop, it doesn't come with the bucket that is needed for such a large mop head, therefore I've used it as an addition to my steam mop. I steam mopped as usual and then used the Leifhert to go over the patches that were a little damp, and to shine them up. For this, it is excellent. The large head with the micro fibre patch is excellent for shining the tiles, and as the head swivels it really does get into all of the nooks and crannies. The best thing about it is the length of the handle - no more aching back, it's long enough to be used without having to bend down. The micro fibre pads are machine washable and replacements can be purchased at around £15. The mop bucket that is needed if you wish to use this in the traditional way is pretty expensive at over £50, so that does need to be taken into consideration, but for me, this will be used alongside my steam mop and for in-between sweeps of the floor too.The mop arrived very well packaged, with bubble wrap and cardboard and the head is simple to attach to the pole. The head stays securely on the pole during use.

Excellent mop, but big!
Excellent mop, which has left my kitchen and conservatory floors cleaner than they have ever been. Easy to assemble and to use, and very effective on quite well-adhered dirt. The mop head is wider than any I have had before, and while this means it does clean a larger area, it makes it more awkward both to manoeuvre and to store than smaller ones. It is difficult to get into smaller floor areas, and between furniture, but of course ideal for larger expanses of flooring. The handle also is longer than any of my other mops, and does not telescope or dismantle, so does not fit in my mop cupboard.

No bucket, no cry. 5 stars - as a duster!
Yep, as a mop this is useless without the bucket. But, go lateral - turn on the music and dust. This mop makes a fantastic duster. It’s big and flat and sweeps down walls and across ceilings in moments and because it swivels in every way possible you can get the long edge or the short edge into corners and tricky spots. With some nifty wrist twisting it goes just about anywhere. The mop head comes off and goes on easily and a 15 minute 30 degree wash in the machine gets it clean to go again.Normally I wait until the cobwebs are heavy enough to fall down by themselves, but this mop has turned me into a dusting fool.

Mop-tastic
I'm extremely impressed with this product. It is easy to use and has cut mopping time in half due to it covering a large area. As I mop I can tell it is unlike any mop I've ever used, and I've tried many over the years. I actually feel like its cleaning my floors. My laminate looks immaculate after using the mop. The laminate in my hall has heavy use from shoes and muddy dog prints after a walk. After using the mop it's looks cleaner than ever. The mop gets rid of stubborn marks with no effort at all. It's easy to remove and wash. It's a fantastic investment for the home.

Efficient mop
This is a very long mop. I cleaned my whole kitchen (well, kitchenette) with just 2 trips to the bucket. The result was fine, better than my existing Vileda traditional mop. There are a few points to note:• The mop head is washable, which will of course help to keep it clean.• The packaging demands washing before first use. I decided not to and took the risk. I lived to tell the tale.• The mop is nearly half a metre long. Whilst it bends in the middle when the frame is loosened and can therefore be wrung out by hand, you really need to invest in the companion bucket, which contains a roller to prevent your floor getting sopping wet.• Build quality seems substantial. All in all, provided you also get the bucket, this is a great choice for larger rooms.
