These bi-fold door bottom pivots are constructed of plastic bases and steel pivot screws. This kit includes a pair of 3/8 inch diameter bases and a pair of 7/16 inch diameter bases. These height-adjustable bases install beneath the pivoting vertical style of bi-fold doors and lock into pivot brackets that fasten to the jamb and/or floor. Each pivot screw head features a grooved cone-shaped pivot head, and it screws in or out of the plastic base for adjustment. Great for Older (and Newer) Bi-fold Closet Doors
Doing remodeling, decided to repaint the bi-fold closet doors. Removed the old pivot pins, plastic sleeve had dried out so they broke apart on removal - not able to reuse them. Went to a big box store to get replacements, they carried only one size. Figured it must be universal and that it would be fine. It was not fine. Too small. Found these on Amazon. The 7/16" bottom pivots in this kit worked great. Very easy to install, the height adjustment is simple, and my doors work better than before. Looks like newer doors are tapped for 3/8" so that is what is locally in stock. If you have an older door, these are your best bet, you're covered either way.
