Easy install, great operation, energy efficient.
These are great! Really cant recommend enough. The team is also smart about their products and asks great questions to ensure the best end product. I've spent well over $5000 with these folks for their Shades and anticipate that I will recommend to many others.

Great blackout blinds (IF you use channels) and can absolutely be added to home automation system
I've had these for almost two years now and remain very pleased. I did an interior mount, and it was difficult to get the brackets screwed in but no more so than any other blind I've installed. Since this was for a baby-room, it had to be blacked out. There are several comments in the reviews to the effect that, "Light leaks around the sides!" My son's a radiologist, so I'm an expert with blackout blinds. Here's the key tip: Side channels are essential! If you don't do side and bottom channels, interior-mount blinds will NOT be blackout. Buy side channels online and install them so that light finds it difficult to leak around the sides of the blinds. A bottom channel is also required, and I found some convenient extruded aluminum U-channel at Home Depot for about $12. When lowered, the darkening is really impressive. If I wanted to tune it even more, I would use felt between the side-channels and the wall, and install additional material at the top of the blind where light leaks OVER the roll. That last leak is the hardest to fix, and plastic foam sprayed black has worked there in other projects. Still, this was fine for my grandbabies to sleep in darkness in the middle of the daytime. Finally, this blind requires periodic recharging. The wood valance is held on by strong magnets, but it can be yanked down in a minute and a phone-charger battery tops off the blinds in less than an hour. I probably charge less than twice a year, but don't use the blinds daily. The remote control worked fine for local use, but at the time I wanted home automation control over the blinds too. It is NOT a Zigbee motor, but a Bond Bridge (BD-1000, not the Pro version) that I use for ceiling fans was able to clone the remote-control signals giving me full access from Google Home, SmartThings, Home Assistant, etc. It runs through the Bond cloud of course, but that's been fast and reliable. I would buy them again, except I'm going for all-Zigbee going forward. If that's not a problem, they're a great deal and very versatile.

Elegant Design
The blind is very elegantly designed, easy to install and works well. Thereโs no charging information in the instructions other than: โThe charging motor need to be charged every three months.โ Thereโs a notation in the package that the motor battery needs to be fully charged for 6 hours before installation. A red LED lights up on the motor bezel while charging, then goes out when fully charged. After a full charge, if the charger is plugged into an outlet and the cable is plugged back into the motor, the LED light does not come back on to indicate charging has begun. I assumed the battery needs to be discharged to a certain level before the charge cycle is allowed to begin again. Thereโs also no indication as to whether the charger and cable can be left plugged into the motor and powered during use, so I left the cable plugged into the motor for this installation, but chose not to plug in the charger block again until the battery needs charging. The remoteโs programming instructions need to be re-written so they make better sense in English. The Mandarin-to-English translation is choppy, vague and has the typical typos and grammatical errors. The mounting bracket receptacle on the motor end of the blind is a very tight fit in a few of the available indexed positions. Using a small amount of silicone grease on the male portion of the bracket before insertion will help to ensure that it inserts into the motorโs receptacle completely. Overall I was very impressed with the blind, and most importantly, the senior customer that I purchased and installed this blind for was happy as well.

Motor Fails Quickly
I purchased this item through Amazon and used it for less than two years when the motor burned out and no longer functions. Two years may sound like a long time, but the motor itself was used a maximum of 20 times during that period. My wife and I would lower the curtain whenever we were leaving town for an extended period of time, and raise it when we returned. I contacted the manufacturer through Amazon, explained the situation regarding the motor failure and uploaded a few requested photographs. The manufacturer agreed that the failure was premature and agreed to send a replacement. I was then asked if I would be able to pay the shipping cost. I said, "that's fair," and agreed to do so. Then, I was informed that the shipping cost would be $45.00! $45.00 is โ of the total cost I paid for the curtain new out of the box! Moreover, the motor itself constitutes a very small amout of the weight and volume of the total package. I asked if the company had made a mistake...that the shipping cost for the small motor could not be that high. They did not respond, and have since stopped responding. So, my advice is, don't purchase this item if you need something that will last longer than a few trips up and down your window or door. As for myself, I have since discovered that I can purchase a motorized blackout curtain locally from a reputable company for less than $100.00. To me, it's worth paying $55.00 extra to obtain a new and more reliable product from a reputable company, than to continue dealing with this company to receive a less reliable product.

Does NOT offer full coverage on an INSIDE mounting - otherwise GREAT product! ๐
I obviously did NOT like that I bought "black out" blindes that doesn't offer black outs / full coverage on INSIDE mounts -& that was never disclosed @ the time of purchase. I DO however โค๏ธ love the product / good quality & how I was able to install it myself !! I am NOT techy or particularly handy by nature ,) I even got the remote controls programmed by myself - one thing I couldn't do with the remotes is to ONE click to OPEN/CLOSE the blinds - I hv to hold the button down Until I reach the desired length of the blinds - idk if that's the limitation of the remote or if it's something Idk how to do yet --- I will UPDATE u on that after reaching out to Customer Service n inquire about this issue. I think it might offer those different features cuz there are pictures on the remotes that suggest it... & when I complained to the company about the light shining thru on top & edges - I was VERY impressed with the fast & accommodating responses --- they even texted me back & forth via WhatsApp 5 stars for CUSTOMER SERVICE! & willingness to accept a return & refund & or REPLACE the blinds for OUTSIDE mounting 4 desired FULL COVERAGE/ BLACK OUT room (*I decided to keep the blinds the way they are but I might buy 2 valances to cover the gaps on top at least. The company mentioned "side valances" but idk what that is or how "clean" that would look on an otherwise very neat looking window, so I don't think I will be worrying about the sides for now anyway. Overall I'm very happy & IF I decide that I'm not GUNG HO on INSIDE mountings ...I would order 11 more of these blinds to cover the rest of my house windows with OUTSIDE mounting In a HEARTBEAT๐ Update: One remote stopped working & left my blind fully down- I changed the batteries in the remote - that wasn't the issue - I tried to charge the 'roller' & learned the hard way that there TWO different sizes usb outlets on the rollers ...one that I could see - & another one BEHIND the one I cud see - I texted CUSTOMER SERVICE who again ACCOMODATED me & SENT me a long USB cord (I wish they would've told me there were two different holes & that I was focusing on the wrong one - they cudve saved themselves the trouble) Once I took down the blind - I cud not only SEE the 2nd outlet but I also cud pull out the insert & roll the outlet to face outward where it will allow me to charge it without having to take it DOWN everytime it needs a recharge going forward! Thanx 4 taking good care of your customers! Five stars! ๐

Although the setup instructions leave a lot to be desired, using Youtube will help you greatly!
I reached out to the seller for support as it appeared my remote was DOA. The battery contacts on the remote are very finicky and you have be sure the outside contacts don't get stuck under the battery. That was my issue and the seller suggested I check this. Once I fixed this I was able to complete the setup. I was also able to complete the setup to my Matter home automation system, so all good on that front as well. Additional follow up after having it for six months plus, these things are incredible. Works perfectly in HomeKit. Additionally shows battery level we have not connected the solar panel up that we purchased with it. Don't know that we need it now. Easily stays charged for 3 to 6 months and shows battery level inside of HomeKit app. Absolutely incredible.

Good quality.
I will say that I had an issue with the original packaging coming without brackets or remote and a box that was partially opened. There was a decent amount of back and forth but the seller was very responsive and eventually sent me an entire new blind with remote and brackets. Now that this is on it looks amazing and works perfectly. Granted its day one but if this quality is for the long term I will be buying more for the rest of my windows

GAME CHANGER!! Fantastic quality and EASY to install!
These blinds have been a FANTASTIC game changer for me for our bedroom. Insomnia plagues me most nights. Full moon nights and city lights are enough to wake me up. Installing these and coupling them with a white noise machine has made an enormous difference for me. Now let's talk about how EASY they are to install. Less than 10 minutes on each (I ordered one to try and see if I like them or if they worked well, they did, I ordered a second one). The instructional videos are such a great asset. The ease of programming the remote for multiple blinds is impressive, and I'm not overly technical. I've since ordered the side slots to block a bit more light on one of the blinds. I installed one on the inside of the frame, and one on the outside. I found that the inside mount would benefit me best by using the side slots. I'd give these blinds 6 stars if I could!! HIGHLY recommend!
