**Q: what holds in the filter?**
A: There are 2 small metal tabs on the bottom of the filter that act as a spring in the funnel to keep the filter in place. Seems to be a solid hold, but easy to remove if needed.

**Q: Would this be good for straining corn meal or flour debris from kitchen deep fryer oil? I gave up 3D printing in the early days.**
A: No.

The Stainless Steel Funnel is a great tool that makes it easy to transfer liquids without making a mess. The stainless steel material is durable and easy to clean, and the strainer filters are easy to install and clean. I have been using it for 3D printer resin, and it works great, I have not had issues with my 3D printer resin after filtering it out with this funnel setup. The only downside is that one of the strainer filters tends to clog easily, but it's not a big deal. Just make sure to be careful not to over fill the funnel. Overall, this is a great product and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a durable, versatile and easy to use funnel for their Resin transferring needs.
