Beware the graphics card
Put simply: there is no graphics card. Although the description lists the GPU as "NV GT640", which is in fact a configuration offered for this model by Asus, it actually ships with the same Intel HD graphics found in other entry level systems. I would have given this a lot lower of a rating if I hadn't worked out the error with Amazon, but as of now, the listing is still wrong on the site.Otherwise the system has been rock solid stability-wise and light years faster than my old system (a self-built AMD Athlon, non-dual core). Hated Windows 8 at first, but after much Googling and tweaking, I've now got the new Start Page configured to my liking and am quite pleased.All in all, a good machine, albeit a bit pricey given the actual graphics configuration.

Loose screw!
It came with something rattling around inside it so we returned it immediately for another. The second one came with something rattling around loose inside it. Also returned it. Must have been someone sleepy on the assembly line that day. I have other Asus machines and love them but didn't want anything to do with this one.

settled for this as original assus with 16 gig of memory with the gt 640 was backordered through amazon for over 6 weeks
Over priced without the extra 8 gigs of memory and missing invidia graphics board. Decent machine, fast not happy with hd2500 graphics but they work ok. Had I not paid over 650 dollars for this and yet now must purchase 8 more gig of memory and a video card. The machine I wanted came with the 16 gig of memory and the invidia geforce gt640 for 699.99 through amazon. I got sick of waiting with no word of when they could get my order shipped to me and I settled for this. Overall good computer, overall shopping experience could have been better. So far I have never had a problem with asus components. I hope even though I didn't get a great deal on it it lasts.

Very old and outdated
In this day and age this computer is pathetic. And it's $1200 dollar price tag is a joke. I could personally build this rig for a couple hundred max
