The tread looks herky as well. I have installed it on the wheel but haven't ridden it. I am waiting for the second tire. No problems installing. I like the inflation range on this tire, 35-55 psi. I can ride it in a range of conditions. For the price I already count this a success. I have confidence because it was made in Japan.22June2020 addition. I received the second tire and did some riding. I quoted the off-road inflation pressure earlier. Now I see that 65 psi is recommended for road use. That's really good. They rolled very well on the road at 45 psi. I went through some beach sand and they handled that well. FYI, I am using tubes with these tires.I am completely satisfied with these tires. It seems that I might have been fortunate to get two of the last remaining inventory of the red sidewalls. The color along with the good performance makes this a very successful purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Glad with these tires *by A***7 on Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2021* After getting frustrated looking around for a new quality bike in my size locally that was reasonably priced and in stock I gave up until next year and just decided to update my 20 year old Canondale F700. I got these tires mostly for the red color that matched some of the other color highlights on my bike seal, grips, etc. and was pleasantly surprised after going on a couple of short rides. You can probably get away with something less aggressive if you just ride dirt roads but worked well for the light single track trails that I ride that sometimes get a bit muddy in spots and have rocks and roots in sections. The tires that I received from this vendor were the more desirable made in Japan ones and my only complaint was that one felt a bit tight and was difficult to install but that very well could have been my old rim. I can't speak to durability but they seem plenty good for the low miles that I ride a year. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ready to buy a replacement after 2 years! *by Z***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2017* I have had these tires for about 2 years, front and back.I have been averaging about 5 miles (very rough trail) every other weekend (whenever there is less than 4 inches of snow) on my hard tail diamondback. These tires do have some noticeable rolling resistance, however I was expecting such. The sidewalls have taken a beating and proudly display lots of gashes, but have not separated at all.
