Ordered this replacement kit for my Bose QC15 headphones, where the headband and screens were falling apart and the ear cushions were flaking badly. This was a perfect replacement. Word of advice - watch the new video posted for these because the headband is improved from previous versions and goes on differently (better!!!). The ear cushions and screens install just as previous videos show - just pull off the old cushions and screens, clean off any residual sticky tape from the original screens, then install the new screens and cushions following the instructions in the videos. The improvement is in the headband. Previous versions used a zipper; this one uses a hook & loop type assembly system, which makes installation much simpler and the finished assembly looks so much smoother and very close to the original appearance. Follow the video instructions for removal of the two small headband clamps and carefully cut off the original headband. Now just open the hook & loop closure, slip the new headband in place, and smoothly close the fastener system. Reinstall the headband clamps and you're done! Easy peezy!The replacement headband and ear cushions seem to be thicker and more comfortable than the original parts. AHG says they back these parts with a 365 day warranty. Based on the quality as installed, I don't think I will have to test their warranty. These fit perfectly and required zero modification. In fact, I ordered a second kit to repair my wife's QC headphones, so you know these have to be top quality replacements!

I'm very impressed with this company Accessory House and both its product and customer support. I own old school Bose Quiet Comfort 2 noise-cancelling headphones aka QC2. The ear covers and padded headband were worn out. Accessory House filled my order promptly. I received a great email from them prior to the product's arrival, thanking me for trusting them to fill my order and to contact them if I had any questions or needed help installing my purchase.I did the installation of the three pieces using their YouTube videos. The videos were easy to follow, even for a beginning repairperson like me. I was particularly impressed by the mini tools they sent me, which I have saved for use on other small repairs. Their attention to detail is amazing. For example, they included a paperclip which is a big help when trying to close the zipper on the headphone band replacement. Now 99.9% of folks have a paperclip lying around, but it was great to be given one with the other tools just to make it go faster. Also, there's a small plastic edging tool. This tool is extremely helpful (lightweight and small enough) to ensure that the installation looks good with smooth edges. I also used it to clean out the area for my AAA battery, which had smattered. Like I said, saving all of these for subsequent use.The installation took me about an hour, counting several views of the videos and working slowly to not mess up my beloved Bose QC2. I think someone who does more repairs than me could do it in half the time. The headphones look brand new and feel much better on my head. I wish Accessory House continued success, and I'll be looking to be a customer again!

Do not buy this product. It is impossible to install. I watched the video and kept saying it is easy to install the ear pad replacement. Just snapped the edge to the eight small notches around the Bose QC 15 headset. The edge of the ear pad replacement is too thick for the headset notch. It is impossible to put it in. I haven't installed the head band yet. It is a waste of money. Very angry customer.My fault. My Bose QC15 is too old and when I took out the ear pad, the base stick in the headset. Once I removed the old ear pad base and the installation is a breeze. It looks and works well.

The instructions and linked video provided were excellent - I followed them with no problem. However, they understated the difficulty of properly sealing the Velcro on the headband - doing that was a pain.If I were going to do it again, I think I would insert strips of parchment paper or waxed paper between the Velcro parts, so I could position them well first, without them sticking together; then, when they were properly positioned, I would pull out the paper strips one at a time to get a better-positioned Velcro adherence.Everything else works great, I love the comfort, and the quality of it all seems top-notch. When I need a new set of earpads and headband, I will probably get this kind again.I would rate it 4.4 stars, simply because of the difficulty of working with the Velcro. Everything else was 5 stars.

Easy installation with job aid video and instructions. Great feel, and look, makes my 15 yr old QC 15’s look Brand New. Thank You Very Much AHG!!

I had not used my Bose QC15 headphones for several years. When I recently removed them from their case, the ear pads and headband had deteriorated to a sticky mess. Rather than discard the headphones, I found this replacement set of pads on Amazon. The Youtube videos and included tools made installation fairly easy. I did have to use a cotton swab dampened with alcohol to help with some of the “sticky mess”. The only problem I encountered was the length of the headband. It was too long to install under the clips on both sides of the headphones. After several failed attempts, I decided to trim off about 4mm on one side of the headband with a pair of scissors. I was then able to easily complete installation. I installed the set of scrims with “L” and “R” imprinted on them. I really like being able to quickly tell which side is which! In summary, this is a great product which can restore an expensive set of headphones back to their original state.

Great to repair worn out ear cups and head cushion. Perfect fit - although a little tricky to install but once figured out and excellent product.

Fitted well and quality looks good, the existing head band has to be cut off but the replacement is a Velcro fit but looks good and hard to tell from original when fitted, ear cups feel good and fit well and a plastic tool is provided to push them into original clips/retaining tabs, so far so good only time will tell for the endurance side of the product.

Because of the mess of flaking black material from my old Bose QC15, this kit provided a very suitable and comfortable option to be able to reuse these headphones, which I still find great for casual music listening and more recently audiobooks. By there nature these do require some do-it-yourself ability but the recommended you tube videos explain everything very well, with warnings of possible errors of just going ahead without instruction, as if not careful, mistakes could be disastrous. Installing the earplugs is the simplest and works very well (the design allows easy replacement. Replacing the band is a little more complicated with the risk of damage if Video warnings are not followed, and as the band isn’t designed for replacement, the new band (which has work well) won’t look the same as manufactured original with a seem for the required zip, and some bunching of the pad but still functions well and again comfortable and still fits with the case.So in summary, these are a highly recommended Kit for reviving an otherwise good set of headphones. You can also buy the pads and headband separately if only one element deteriorated/damaged. But with the age of the equipment I had to replace both, and the kit is cheaper than buying separately. Highly recommended.

Daher wollte ich nicht auf die Original-Ersatzteile zurückgreifen, die Forenberichten zufolge die gleiche Materialschwäche aufweisen. Ich bin auf dieses Produkt gestoßen, das neben den Ohrpolstern auch die von Bose nicht vorgesehene Kopfband-Erneuerung beinhaltet und erstaunlicherweise dennoch preisgünstiger ist.Das Produkt wurde schnell in exzellenter Verpackung und inklusive der zur Demontage und Montage notwendigen Werkzeuge geliefert. Zusätzlich wird vom Hersteller ein Videotutorial angeboten, das den Umbau in gut verständlichen Schritten anleitet. Der Kopfhörer passt trotz des etwas verbreiterten Kopfbandes weiterhin in das Originalcase (siehe Bild). Die Ohrpolster tragen sich sehr angenehm und haben keinerlei negative Effekte auf die Funktionalität des Kopfhörers (Soundqualität, Noise-Cancelling).
