My cat Rose loves it!
The media could not be loaded. Ever since we moved to a new home in the city, my beloved cat Rose missed the freedom of exploring the great outdoors. That's when I discovered this incredible cat leash, and it has transformed Rose's life in ways I couldn't have imagined! With this leash, Rose can once again indulge in the sights, sounds, and smells of nature that she adores. The moment I put it on her, her eyes light up with excitement, and she eagerly leads the way towards our backyard. It's heartwarming to witness her pure joy as she frolics in the fresh air!I'm amazed at how quickly Rose adapted to wearing the leash. It's comfortable, secure, and gives her the freedom to explore while ensuring her safety. The durable materials and reliable construction provide me with peace of mind, knowing that Rose is in good hands. Now, here's the funny part—Rose has become so enamored with her outdoor adventures that she actually begs to go outside! It's as if she's telling me, 'Come on, human, let's go explore!' Sometimes, when it's time to head back indoors, she even playfully hisses at me as if protesting the end of her outdoor escapades. It's an adorable display of her newfound love for the leash and the freedom it brings. If you're searching for a cat leash that will not only fulfill your feline companion's desire for outdoor exploration but also provide you with peace of mind and endless entertainment, look no further. Great harness/leash set that lets me keep my cat safe and lets him enjoy the outside world during his twilight years
I purchased this set for my aging cat (who was 9 when I bought this and is now 11) when it became clear that he was no longer suited for his previous indoor/outdoor lifestyle and would be a healthier, safer cat if he was kept inside as much as possible. I didn't want to completely isolate him from the outside world, but I also didn't want him to be put at risk of sickness or injury. Walks together using this harness and leash was the perfect solution to the problem and was a good compromise for both me and the cat. He gets to enjoy the fresh air and mark his territory and get exercise, while I get the peace of mind that comes with knowing he's not in harm's way. Now, Blizzard is one of those uncommon cats that doesn't really ever fight me on anything, even if he's not thrilled, he just passively takes whatever I decide to do to him. He lets me give him baths, touch his tummy, get stuff from his eyes, check around in his mouth, wipe his butt, all that kind of stuff that cats generally fight their owners on, so he really had no trouble getting the harness on or walking with it on. I don't expect that to be the general experience, but for my cat, it was no trouble at all. He didn't fight the harness, try to slip out of it, lay down in defiance, or refuse to walk. In fact, the only trouble I run into with taking him on walks is that he sometimes hisses at me when we're on walks and he isn't quite ready to stop sniffing something and I want to keep moving (which isn't the product's fault!).I will say, however, that I find this product's sizing to be a little weird. Blizzard is not a large cat at all. In fact, he's considerably smaller than most of the other cats I've had in my life and most of the cats I see around the neighborhood. I'm quite sure my little bobbed-tail baby was the runt of his litter. He weighs about 10 lbs. But the large size harness fits in pretty well without a lot of adjusting. I'd definitely measure your cat and compare the numbers to what the product description says before purchasing!Other than this, I find the harness to be a quality product that's held up well. A few times Blizzard has tried to dart off very quickly while wearing the harness/leash and managed to get a front leg free from the force of suddenly running, but he's never been able to fully pull himself out the harness, so I think this is a worthwhile buy if you have a wiggly, slinky cat that's prone to slipping free. There are several ways/places to adjust the harness, so it can be tightened to each cat in the way that it needs to be to ensure the cat is secure and won't be getting off their leash anytime soon. The harness is also pretty comfy apparently, since Blizzard has been able to lounge and snooze in his without trying to scratch his way free of it.It was also a perk that the harness/leash set comes in so many colors! Overall, a five star product

Overall a pretty good harness
I keep looking for something more jacket like for when winter comes, but these are really the most secure harnesses we've tried.Pros- The strap on the back is a great place to grab a freaking out kitty and not get scratched.- They're very adjustable. As soon as my cats grew to no longer be between sizes, they were about as secure as I think they're going to get in a harness.- Mobility in these things is fantastic. The vest style harnesses always seem to restrict their shoulders so they walk oddly.Cons- There is no overlap between sizes. There was a period that both of my cats were between a small and medium but neither of them fit. I couldn't clip the small because they were too big, I couldn't adjust the medium to be small enough to be secure. That cats have different builds, one is stocky and the other is lanky.- There's a little plastic stopper near where the leash clips in that's supposed to be an adjustment point. It worked on one harness at first but not the other. Eventually it didn't work on either one.- The leash is too short to be useful once they get into exploring. The unactivated bungee is only 4 feet long, so they're only a couple of feet away from me. Cats start and stop a lot when they're moving around. So the cat will start moving, feel resistance, then look back at me wondering why I'm stopping them. I do like the bungee feature as a gentle "no", I just think it needs to be longer.Tips- If the harness seems loose but the girth is snug, first check to make sure that the logo piece is in the middle of the chest. If that's fine but it's still loose, the strap on the top needs to be shortened. Notice that if you pull on the D ring it snugs up the chest portion. Ignore the plastic stopper that's meant to be for this adjustment, it's unreliable. Instead, tie a knot in the harness next to the D ring. You may need to mess with the location of the knot a little, so don't make it right at first. Double check that the logo piece is still in the middle of the chest. The knot will hold far better than that plastic thing and it won't move around after you take the harness off.- Do not pick up a panicking cat if you can possibly help it, you'll get very scratched up. I don't care how sweet and calm your indoor cat is, if they hear a bang or a weird noise that you might not even hear, instinct is going to take over and they will fight you until they calm down and act like nothing happened.- If your cat starts to back out of the harness, don't pull! This is how cats escape from harnesses, by backing out of them. Instead, walk towards them. Either keep following them until they turn around or grab the harness on their back to hold them in place. If they're panicking, talk soothingly to them until they calm down, it's unlikely to last very long.- If your cat runs away from you but is still secure, you should be fine. The best hold this thing has on them is when they're facing away from the leash and pulling. Let them pull out the bungee. You can either stay put or follow.- I noticed a review from someone who's tied the leash to something and the cat got away. I haven't seen a harness yet that I would trust unsupervised with my cat.- Give you cat easy access to a carrier that they like while adventuring. It's a place they can hide and feel safe if the world is to big and scary. It also makes it really easy for you to take them home/inside if things aren't working out that day. My carrier has mesh on the sides, when we first started the cats felt a lot safer in it when I put a blanket over it so they could have a cave. Be sure you're good at getting the cat into the carrier if they don't want to go.

Purr-fect Harness
Second time purchasing! My indoor cat enjoys being outdoor, and this gives him the flexibility to come outside with me. I love that it fits him (he’s large 20lb), that it doesn’t choke him (many cat harnesses attach around the neck) and most importantly I know he’s safe.

She still got out of it
My Houdini cat still was able to figure her way out of it. If she wasn't so determined I think it would have done its job perfectly. Its cute and good quality.

Great and strong
Great harness, strong and durable. My Bengal cat is very dynamic and vivid and it survived his many speed runs and tree climbing. The most important thing is that it is very lightweight and it doesn't restrict his movement.Yes, he can escape from it if he decides to turn backward but it happened very rare. I have several harnesses and he managed to escape from all of them anyways.
