yummy
I love this stuff, and the stuff was fresh, only thing is the container is hard to open. Not a plastic cover, instead a metal cover, very old fashioned.

MADE MATTERS WORSE
I sure don't have the GI of others who have liked this cure for eons.It GAVE ME HEARTBURN.I tried it several times over several weeks and each time it made my stomach worse off.Read the ingredients. If those spices give you ajida in foods then they'll give you a stomach ache in this formulation!

An acquired taste, to be sure.
When I first tried them, I didn't like the taste, too salty, with a strange sulphur-like taste. The tamarind helps a little. They do work for their intended purpose, however.

Maybe it's my American taste buds but I can not stomach the taste of these things. Sitting my my cabinet, guess I'll have to relent and throw them away.
