Very weak adhesive.
Headline is the main point. The adhesive of the tape is weaker than the pull of the velco. Things I put on my closet door stick, but once I try to pull them off and put them back on, the adhesive pulls right off instead of the velcro coming detached. After a few days, the adhesive lost the fight against gravity and stuff starting falling down. Can't recommend the product unless it's something very light that you don't plan to unstick the velcro for, but in that case why are you getting velcro?

tape doesn't stick
At first they seemed great. I used them (3 1x1 inch strips) to hang led strips above my work bench and above my sink. The light fixtures were very lite, under 4 ounces. Two days later I found them both hanging by the wire. Both were attached to flat, clean painted surfaces. The side that was attached to the glossy light fixture did not fail on any of them. If you are attaching the strips to two glossy surfaces they will probably be fine.I added some LLPT double sided tape between the old adhesive and the painted surface. Problem solved. You could probably hang an anvil with the LLPT tape.

Not for anything heavier than a pound or two
I had bought these for hanging a wooden cosplay shield that weighs under 3 lbs. I used two strips along both the top & bottom, in case one wasn't enough. It seemed to hang just fine at first, but overnight, my shield fell off my wall & damaged things that were underneath it. :/ The adhesives had come off the wall with the shield as well.I wasn't able to find information anywhere about how much weight one or two strips could hold, so maybe this is my fault - but I'd definitely only use it for lightweight decorations, like tiny plastic frames. Definitely not for anything you'd be upset about breaking. On the plus side, my wall was not damaged when the adhesive ripped off with my shield lol.

Great For Desk Cable Management - Strong Hold
I watched this Home Depot DIY video for desk cable management ideas and this product worked great! I made a hole in the back rear top drawer of my desk, placed one Velcro strip to the back of a power strip and another Velcro strip to the inside frame of my desk drawer, then attached the power strip w/ the Velcro backing to the Velcro strip on the inside frame of the drawer, and ran the power cable of the power strip through the hole I made in my desk to the rear and plugged it into the wall. All my equipments power cables run from the underside of my desk to the hole in the drawer and plug into the power strip eliminating all the messy dangling power cables on the opposite side and also have a place to plug my phone in. All neatly done with these Velcro strips. My son did something similar using these Velcro strips to mount power strips underneath his desk, in his dresser, nightstand and on his wooden bed frame for easy access power supplies without the need to reach for a power strip, wired all over the place and connecting extensions all neatly and secure. They hold well with several power cords plugged into them. I’ve also used them to hang frames. Very happy with this product and recommend.

i was stuck
i upgraded my garage and wanted to hang pictures (paint by number) and jigsaw puzzles on the rustic finish panel. Everything i used came loose with changes in temperature within the unhedged garage. This provided the perfect solution. what needed to stick stuck and the velcro allows for easy removal if required- My recommendation is to Stick with it,
