Top of the line PIO caps
These are great caps, and I've tried quite a few different NOS paper-in-oil caps. The tone is smooth and they have one other thing I look for: they let the harmonics breath. I've tried other NOS caps that seem to take the life out of the harmonics and for lack of a better term they leave the tone dead. But a good PIO cap has a lively tone and the harmonics really come through, and these perform beautifully. Like a VitaminQ only a lot less money.
