Good but could be better!!
It was easy to apply. Unfortunately, you can still see the old surface underneath. I wish it was notso easy to see through. I think this would work best on surfaces that are completely solid.

Not worth your time or money. Ended up in a big sticky ball. Hard to get bubbles out. When you try to line it up- the edges pull like rubber, but then leave a sag

Buy more than you need
I bought this to cover an old art table that I am now using as a sewing table. It was a good. While it is a nice product and a good value that works well for my purposes, I would not cover a counter top or dining table with it. I had a 72" table so I ordered the 78" roll. You will need more than 5 inches to adjust for pattern and ends of rolls. A few inches on each end were a bit unusable.PROs: Easy to smooth out and remove air bubbles, easy to peel backing (see cons for additional comments), and easy to reposition once it is put done as long as you do it before you get too far along in putting it down.CONs: It was a chore to get the backing to start peeling as one piece. It shredded into smaller pieces and it was a good 5 inches before I got it to roll as a single piece. It was also hard to match up the pattern without having a lot of extra, so in my case, you can tell where the seam is running.
