Hamilton Beach22820 Toaster with Bagel and Defrost Settings, Boost, Auto-Shutoff and Cancel Button Wide Slot, 2 Slice, Sure Toast

In 6 months I went through 4 toasters. My Oster toaster began toasting on only one side. I bought a Black & Decker "Quick Toast" toaster. It toasted quickly but only toasted on one side. They sent a replacement, same thing. I took a break wondering what to do. Finally I took a chance on the Hamilton Beach 22820 because it advertised that it toasted evenly. Well it does, it makes great toast on both sides. It is a little slow, and it shows fingerprints on the stainless steel, but it's a keeper.

I like that it is not big and bulky, its shiny and it will certainly replace my old one. It is black and silver as is my coffee maker and electric can opener. I just have to adjust the darkness of my toast until it is how I want it. And my toaster cover still fits it too.

Needed new toaster and hubby bought this one. Works good only difference from some is that you have to put the bagel cut side facing out when you use the bagel option.

I like this toaster! It’s better than my last one; which was also a Hamilton Beach. It toasts great and evenly. I’m happy with my purchase.

Appears to be cheaply made, takes some time to heat up. If I was looking at it in the store I wouldn’t have bought it

The settings are accurate. Bagels come out good, toast set at 4.5 golden brown on both sides

Nice to have the feature to make the bread rise up after toasting. Bagel feature is good.The toast doesn't toast as evenly as toasters in the past.
