UPDATE:I've used this machine quite a few times now, and I have to say, for the low cost of this Strimmer, it works very well & the batteries have each lasted a good 10-15 minutes each. I thought it might struggle to chop through tough weed stems & brambles but it's taken everything in it's stride, even loose stones - so you need to watch out for stones when using the metal blades and try not to hit them, the blades deform easily when they hit one & it throws the stone pretty far too. The wire 'plant guard' is about as useful as a chocolate tea pot though, it's pretty weak.Spare batteries ?Will they be available or do I have purchased a complete new unit to get batteries & spare metal blades ?Everything arrived in one box & everything in the photo was included; Pictorial assembly instruction booklet, motor head with telescopic handle, additional adjustable handle, pair of gloves, safety glasses, 2x 21v 4Ah rechargeable batteries, mains charger plug, 1x orange thick plastic debris shield (small), 1x black thick plastic debris shield (large) both can be used with the plastic or steel blades included, 2x curved steel blades, 2x straight steel blades, 1x steel circular saw blade, bag of 20 plastic grass strimming blades, pair of easy to attach plastic wheels with lock nuts, 1x steel wire plant guard, 1x Allen key/nut spanner tool, 1x Allen key bolt (to secure debris guards to motor head).Using the photos in the enclosed instructions this machine was easy to assemble set up. Both rechargeable batteries arrived partly charged; so if you want to test that the motor works, do that before attaching the blades.This machine has all the features I look for in a 'weed wacker'; light weight, adjustable height handle, adjustable angle head, plastic & steel blades, easy instructions, safety kit. With the wheels attached, this machine performs like a small rotary lawnmower with the addition of steel blades, it goes through tough weeds likes brambles & saplings with ease - WARNING I would advise other users to wear safety boots whilst using this machine, to avoid injuries to feet. Also check the area you're working in for wildlife, like frogs or hedgehogs who could be harmed by the cutting blades.Very versatile & suitable for strimming grass, brush cutting, lawn edge trimming.Very easy to use and produces a clean cut and even finish when using the wheels. Easy to charge the 2 rechargeable batteries that come with it, the 3-pin (UK) mains charger has a red LED for charging & green LED for a fully charged battery.The purchase price I paid was less than £40 using a 30% off amazon voucher. I took a chance and pleased I did.Performance wise; all good so far, I hope it's longevity is as good as it's features, time will tell. Hopefully replacement blades and additional batteries will be available soon.

For the money, this is a really impressive bit of kit. It is quite flimsy, but it’s super lightweight and reasonably powerful. Comes with two batteries and once charged lasted for a good 35-40 minutes of constant strimming. They do seem to take a while to charge (several hours).Comes with several blades, two metal and one rather vicious looking saw blade. Not used the latter but the metal strimmer ones are great. Also came with a dozen plastic blades which seem to just snap on contact with anything solid.The unit does find it difficult to get through thick long grass, but you just have to take it slowly. It was more than capable of getting through brambles and taking back hedges. It was chopping through twigs around 10mm quite easily.Overall a neat, light tool that packs away nicely and is super easy to use. For the price it’s great.

Total waste of money. Worked perfectly fine one minute. Stopped for a short time then when I tried to continue it was as dead as a zombie both batteries fully charged still nothing. Batteries operate another device I odn so clearly not them at fault.

This grass trimmer cutter is lightweight and easy to handle, but it lacks the power needed for tougher tasks. While it works fine on light grass, it struggles with thicker weeds or overgrowth. Ideal for small, basic trimming jobs, but may not be suitable for those needing more cutting strength.

Genious idea a strimmer on wheels, and works well. Lightweight and easy to take to allotment. OK so it's not a professional level tool but there again it's low cost and does work. Using with the straight metal blades. The batteries are each 4000mAH and will each last well over a hour. This one also has the 850w motor so whilst not unstoppable it gives a good account of itself when used correctly. You do need this power level. Runs quietly so that's nice. The wheels are height adjustable. Allotment path are bumpy, I found when set to lowest blade height there wasn't clearance, but if you start at highest for long grass and then best is medium heigh and you can always just lift and start strimming. You will see apparently this same product from other suppliers but be aware of differences. I ordered one previously from another and received in the box 2000mAh batteries and I believe 600w motor so returned it and ordered from this supplier. Please note the blades do run open at the front, sensibly used I find it OK but caution is needed.
