Perfect diameter to make carburetor springs on 1/24 scale models

I tried using this to bind some metal I was forging, and even though I knew what I was getting into, the results were subpar. It held up pretty well under tension, but couldn't handle bending at all; it snaps way too easily if bent in near half. The heat resistance was as advertised though, so I couldn't really complain. In general, it works as well as you would expect a fine wire to. Even though I say it snapped easily when bent, it was generally really strong for its size.

I'm a student using this wire in a high temperature vacuum application. The wire is of the right size and holds up as I'd expect tungsten to under these conditions, though I cannot directly speak to purity. It is not obvious that this wire comes with an insulative enamel coating on it. This coating needs to be removed if the bare wire needs to be exposed (we had to burn it off prior to using it in the vacuum) so it was irritating to my team, but could be helpful to other teams!
