Collis Curve ToothbrushesSoft-Clear Cap

This toothbrush is not soft. I purchased it for my special needs son because of the referral from his dentist. It does clean his teeth well but it took him a few days to get used to it. The color is a faint pink and there was no option for a different color.

I haven't used Collis Curves for many years. Don't know why I stopped. They are as great as I remember ... unparallelled cleaning in a manual brush and better than some power brushes. You can feel them work and, in a few days of use, feel the tdifference. Srongly recommend for everyone. Start with the soft, work to the mediium. Shouldn't need the stiff (periodontal) unless recommended by dentist. GREAT!!!

This toothbrush might be great, I really don't know. I purchased it for my special needs son who has trouble brushing his teeth well. They sent a pink toothbrush, even though there is no mention of pink anywhere in the listing, or even that you may get a different color than that shown. My son refuses to use the pink toothbrush because that is the color his little sister uses. Customer Service was less than helpful. I mean way way less than helpful. So now I paid for this item and it sits unopened in the drawer for all eternity. I'm so upset. I can't afford to throw $ away.

My 8.5 year old son has austism, sensory processing disorder, and a mental disability. Brushing his teeth was a really hard task for us. He wanted to do it himself, but would only brush the lower teeth on one side and ruin regular toothbrushes with the amount of pressure he put on the brush just to feel the bristles. It was a huge struggle to get him to open his mouth to let us brush for him. I found this brush while searching for something else under the keyword "autism". I bought it and a different toothbrush with a similar idea behind it (brush 3 sides at once). My son chose to use this one first. I showed it to his dentist and she was surprised that something like this existed. She took the information down in case we liked it and it worked effectively. I bought a mouth wash that stains leftover plaque and food particles to see how well the brush cleans. This brush has been an overwhelming success!! To get the inner bristles to brush the tops of the teeth while the side bristles brush the sides of the teeth, you have to press down on the brush. The amount of force my son uses is no longer a problem and is now very helpful. He still needs to be directed to brush other teeth, but he does it willingly because of the sensory stimulation he gets back from the brush. The staining mouthwash has proven that the brush is getting the entire tooth and brushing everything away. I rarely need to go back and rebrush his entire mouth. I will definitely be ordering more of these!

Had gotten to be hard to find elsewhere. They do a good job, especially for anyone who has difficulty manipulating a regular toothbrush. Used until new dentist said old silver/merc. fillings need replacement and have to deal with that and receding gums another way for now. Good for people with limited physical manipulation control.

My two year old likes to brush her own teeth and DOES NOT WANT HELP!! If you have a strong willed toddler the last thing you need is one more battle to pick. I let her use these tooth brush by herself and she brushes her teeth three times a day. Her teeth probably still aren't as clean as they would be if I brushed her teeth, but this does a much better job than the other tooth brushes we have tried. We will be getting more.

The only reason it didn't get a 5 star is because it wears down faster then a regular toothbrush.After my son got a pallet expander he hated brushing his teeth. He now will brush his teeth using this type of brush.

I purchased an electric toothbrush recommended by my dentist. At the same time he gave me a curve brush. I was not impressed with the electric brush but I LOVED this curve brush.I have not quite straight teeth an have had gum disease in the past which required surgery. Now at my age 71 I have my teeth cleaned every 4 months. I have to say that this curve brush is VERY impressive as it easily reaches between my crowded teeth. I highly recommend it.As I write this review I am in the process of ordering several more of these.
