This thing is a serious tool. I was worried it may be too small and not give good leverage but it’s huge probably 12-14inches long and heavy duty. Will work great for removing fencing and flooring staples

I have attempted every single recommended tool out there to remove these tiny staples left over in the original hardwood floor from lauan board install where the installers used a pneumatic staple gun to place over 500 staples in a 100 sqft section. These tiny tiny staples are so snug in the wood and about 1.5” deep. The staple head is maybe 1/8” wide. Everything I tried required an insane amount of upper body strength to wiggle the staple out, which I simply did not have and broke staples, leaving a portion in the wood. This is detrimental because I need to sand the wood.This tool was an absolute lifesaver and timesaver. What took 3 minutes on one staple using locking vice grip pliers (with tons of process elimination this was the best option but was still very unsuccessful), I was able to pull 5 staples out in 1 minute with this tool. It causes little to no damage to wood and is just the biggest blessing in disguise because I was feeling quite defeated.Anyone needing to remove staples quickly, this is your tool! Don’t hesitate or second guess. You’ll only regret you waited so long. If I can post pictures or a video later, I will.

This item does not work as described; it didn’t take out the staples as it’s too wide & caused damage.

This review was written after removing several hundred staples from wood packaging material. It was compared with several Pry bars, Bates nail pulling pliers, regular 8"pliers, Workpro 13" nail puller, claw hammer, screw drivers, and a homemade staple puller. The Jokari was by far the best. 2nd place was my homemade puller, a distant 3rd was the Bates pliers. The Jokari is a heavy duty tool that you will loose or have stolen but you will never wear out!! I would make this statement even if I was 28 not 82 years old. The only suggestion I have for improvement would be to make a flat spot on it's round heat so I could give the tail of the staple a whack to expose their head a little. Again the Best tool for staples!!

I very seldom write a review since most people trust them anyway, but i have to talk about a tool that saved me hours of tedious work in replacing the floor in a mobile home, I spent 2 days trying to get staples out using normal tools. Knowing this was going to take days and days to complete i went looking for and alternative. I found this tool on amazon and ordered it . from the time i received it my life became better i would removing staples as much as 10 times as fast and not missing a staple, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOOL. NO ONE HAS REQUESTED OR IS PAYING ME FOR THIS REVIEW

I am remodeling my house where construction staples were used. This tool works great at removing these staples. This is a heavy tool so keep this in mind.

Removing a gazillion staples when reupholstering got so much easier with this tool. And, being able to use the same tool to tap down staples that don't seat properly is so convenient. So glad I found it.

I have tried 4 other products, & this is the only one that works, & so easily, it is a godsend, as I am removing all the drywall which has hundreds of 1/4" x 2" skinny long staples each sheet in a 38-year-old double wide to put in Rockwool insulation.Thank you for designing, and manufacturing this, You are my Hero!!!
