Good product for baking
This is probably one of the most overlooked products by bakers today. One thing I have noticed is that if you add a couple of Table spoons of this to your pizza dough, it will kerp the strong yeast flavor at bay, and allow for a really tasty crust. Plus yeast like it.

For BETTER bread and baked goods
I come from a long line of awesome home cooks, and the ability and skill to make fluffy dinner rolls is highly prized. I got this after researching ways to create loftier bakes. I used it once to bake bread, it's a good product, but I believe that I need to experiment more with the ratios of malt/water/flour. The crust was nice and it had a nice flavor but not quite the rich, yeastiness that all of my sources were gushing about. It's also kept in the fridge. It's a LOT of yeast powder, and you don't need a lot for your recipes so I'm hoping it will last. FANTASTIC value and a price that can't be beat if you are baking bread every week or so. We love homemade bread but we don't eat TONS of it. Try it out!

Zojirushi Bread Machine Additive Search is Over for Malted Barley Ingredient:
I have been searching for a missing ingredient for my Italian Semolina Pane recipe. This Malt powder improved the flavor of my semolina bread loaf. It is much tastier, has a good crust, the color is richer than my usual bread machine loaf without the addition of 1-1/2 teaspoon of Scratch Diastatic Malt Powder added near the end of the first knead cycle. My search is over and I am extremely happy with this purchase. I have always loved freshly baked bread over store bought, but this malt powder takes bread baking to a new level.

Making butter bread
I bake bread every day. Usually four at a time. They didn’t seem to rise as well. So I was told to try using this. They rise beautifully now they have a great texture. I’m not really sure why this works so well, but I don’t care cause it does.
