Works great to remove etchings on marble countertops
I have a white marble bathroom countertop and two beige bathroom countertops. All three were in bad shape, especially around the sinks. Etchings from makeup, toothpaste, various soap products, and spilled CLR made these countertops look pretty bad. Other than calling in the professionals and spending at least $600 to clean up the mess, I decided to give MB Stone MB-11 a try. The bad news is it takes a lot of rubbing using significant force to remove the stains on the countertops. The etching made by the CLR were the hardest to remove. It took multiple times applying the compound to a moist rag and rubbing the etching to remove the stains. The good news is this product saved the day. Following the directions, I was able to remove all the etchings and made the countertops look almost new. It took me the better part of 5 hours to do all three countertops, but it was well worth the effort. I did buy this product from Amazon's warehouse deal for $31, which was a great value. The next project is to seal the countertops, which is needed to prevent future stains. I would highly recommend MB-11 for a DIY project. It is not messy and doesn't require any buffing equipment (just elbow grease). It really works, but it is time-consuming, and I guarantee your hands and fingers will be sore when you are done. The powder goes a long way, I still have 2/3rds of the jar left after completing my project. I have attached a before and after picture of one of the countertops. I would recommend MB-11 and would purchase it again.

Cleared the "Pinesol" etched spot on my limestone tile floor!
It worked! Our new housekeeper splashed Pinesol on our beige limestone floor. Yikes! Very noticeable splash spot. A small dab of this powder and a lot of elbow grease erased the spot! I was pleasantly surprised! Next, I decided to "erase" a few spots from our beige marble bathroom countertop. Shaving styptic pencil really caused some noticeable erosion spots on the marble. Low and behold, this product got out most of the spots! I had to be careful with rubbing the spots so that I didn't have too much shine there compared to the rest of my countertop. I could kick myself that I rushed in without taking a "before" picture. I still have an almost full container of this powder. A little bit goes a long way! Again, I must say I am amazed that this product actually works at removing etched stains!

Very good, removed haze from abrasive cleaner that nothing else would
This is just about perfect as far as polishing compounds go for polished light colored natural marble. It is not a magic bullet, this is a chemical that does the job for you - it’s a compound that requires real elbow grease and some degree of technique to do a job that otherwise can’t be done.It removed a hazy circle from an area that was polished with a compound that was too abrasive in a way none of the other four items I tried could. It takes effort and maybe even a little practice, but if you want to remove etch marks, haze or just restore a brilliant shine to polished natural marble it’s worth the money.

Works on marble that has been etched by vinegar. Great product!
I used this product on my bathroom sink (white marble) and it worked really well. I accidentally spilt some apple cider vinegar on the sink and it etched the marble pretty bad (it went from polished to dull spots that would not come out). You have to rub it in fairly well to get the polished look back but it did work. It looks 100 times better than before. It's not 100% perfect though: it will leave slight buff marks behind, which I believe is the powdery substance interacting with your original smooth marble finish (keep in mind this stuff is for buffing out the dull marble to get it glossy again) and so it's nothing huge or significant that you will notice, it's just barely there. I'm glad I bought this stuff because the wife would have killed me if she had seen it (I managed to buff it out and tell her afterward! Lol...Thank God for two day shipping!)

Worked as advertised!
I had set a plastic vinegar bottle on my granite counter top and it left an etched circle on it. I searched for a resolution and this sounded like it would work. I purchased it, followed the directions, and it removed the etched circle and returned the area to the same level of polish as the rest.

Perfect for Marble!
Our house cleanser used an acidic cleaner on our marble countertop, eating away at the shiny finish. This product was easy to use, required very little elbow grease or effort, and brought back the gorgeous marble finish that I was afraid was gone forever. So, so grateful!!!

Well it works ..... but......
So .... after a few attempts and a lot of research....this does work. However....I’m now hesitant to use it on small etching spots. I have found it extremely difficult to keep the MB-11 in one small spot. When you rub it in, you naturally rub around the spot - not just right in the middle of it so then the outside of the spot needs rubbed cause you’ll just cause more etching if you don’t, then so on and so on. It’s hard to find a stopping place. The MB-11 is so fine that it just goes everywhere no matter how hard I try to keep it in a small section. It’s so fine that you can’t see it spread. I think I would only use this if I need to do a bigger section OR need to get a bad obvious stain out of it. But next time I’m using a buffer instead of doing it by hand. It takes A LOT of elbow grease and muscle to use. Like I was sweating just doing a small spot. So it does work but it seemed to create more work for me and more spots to buff. I also followed the directions to a T and tried it several times. Good luck.

Good product
With out much effort it cleaned all the water spots and stains. I did have to put pressure on some areas but it made my marble counter tops look new. Follow the directions.
