I got this kettle for my bedroom after a bit too much morning traffic with my housemate in the kitchen (ie. we'd end up needing the main kettle at the same time). It's perfect (and very fast) for heating enough water for a big mug of coffee, and I use it twice a day most days. It's also quieter and easier to move than our main (larger) kettle. After about a year I've performed no meaningful maintenance other than wiping out the slate (we have well water) one or twice. There are no signs of problems and only small hints of rust around the rim which might be my fault. Overall I think this has been excellent quality and value for the price and even if something went wrong now, I'd probably just buy another one of these.

I bought the Dezin Electric Kettle (0.8L) specifically for camping, and I’ve been really happy with how it performs. It heats water quickly, the double wall construction keeps the outside cool to the touch, and the 304 stainless steel interior gives me peace of mind about durability and safety. One thing to note: the product description says it's 800W, but the label on the actual unit (as shown in the product photo) clearly states 960W. That could be important if you're trying to manage power usage. In my case, I needed something under 1000W to work with my camping inverter – so even though it's a bit higher than advertised, it still works perfectly for my setup. Overall, I’m pleased with this kettle. It's compact, solid, and efficient – ideal for travel or camping! Just be aware of the wattage discrepancy if you're working with a strict power limit.

Boils water fast. Nice steel interior. Sized well for 1 to 3 people. Priced well. Cool touch outside. Recommended. 2 month update: No rust. Works really well still. No complaints, though I will consider a model with temp control next time. 4 month update: Still no rust. Still working on a daily basis. So easy to use. I feel comfortable having my 90+ year old mother with it. Part of the reason I got it was to keep her from needing to use the stove to heat water.

This is a very nice electric kettle. Heats water quickly. It’s easy to clean. Has a nice long cord and it’s easy pouring. Lightweight.

I downsized into an apartment last Fall and the kitchen is tiny - every inch of counter space counts. For years I've used the OXO glass kettle, which I love. but it's big and also 1500 watts. The Dezin kettle is small and only uses 800 watts. I've been using this kettle daily for the past 3 months. Easy to use, boils water fast. It's got some quirks and is not as well made as the expensive ones,, but I do think it's a good value for the money. It's working out great for my needs. I also like that it's light and easy to pack when traveling. I would definitely use it in an RV, cabin or trailer. Some reviews have mentioned spillage and burn risk from steam or spills. Here's how I avoid that risk. 1. Do not fill past the MAX line, which is about the 3/4 full mark. If you overfill, it will boil over and make a mess. You can go a little over the line but not a lot. 2. Pour carefully. Do not pour too fast or at too aggressive an angle. If you do, it may spill over the top and make a mess. 3. Be mindful of steam coming out the top. The lid is not airtight. If you pour too fast or aggressive, steam will come out of the top near the top of the handle very quickly, or possibly all at once, and may scald your hand. The lid hinge extends across the top of the handle - this is where you have to watch for steam... also the upper part of the handle if your pouring angle puts it above the back of the lid. If you need a small, lower power device, and if you can live with its quirks, it's well worth it.

Love this little kettle!! It doesn’t take up too much counter space and is just the right size for 2 cups of tea or 2 cup ramens. It heats up very fast and without issue as long as you don’t go over the max line (we won’t over by a little bit and it was fine though). Highly recommend!

Love the design, heats water fast and is not too big for the small counter space I have.

Have now travelled with this on many occasions, and it has functioned very well, despite not being handled gently all the time. I am very pleased, and would buy it again.

Do not buy this kettle. It is useless for travelling in countries without 110v. It seems made for the US only

Amazing little kettle! The design and make is elegant (perfect for office or home). Fills two large mugs for tea or coffee. Takes little to no time to heat up. Brilliant!

Excellent construction and the perfect size for my needs (making coffee and tea daily for 1-2 people). The kettle feels very sturdy, and the inside looks exactly like the advertised photos — no plastic comes into contact with the water which is great and so hard to find! I filled it to the max mark with room temperature water and it reached a full boil in 3 minutes and 40 seconds. This can vary slightly depending on household amperage I guess. Very happy with this purchase!
