Tried this gadget on counters at 3 different restaurants. Did not fit. Worked on the last one but had to move to a different location where the countertop was not so deep. Will only work on a shallow countertop. THEN you hold your breath and hope it stays attached to the tabletop. If you make a sudden move and touch your purse, all is lost. My purse AND the holder fell to the floor and the decorative disc attached to the holder fell off.So, it is not long enough to fit all tabletops and it does not stay put.Very annoying and a waste of money. I am extremely disappointed. Also embarrassing because it sent the restaurant customer seated next to me into a dissertation on why he hated Amazon and their cheap products.Oh me….
