Valm Silicone Lube, Long-Lasting, Non-Sticky Personal Lubricant, 8.5 Fl Oz

I’m really impressed with the Valm Silicone Lube. The large 8.5 oz bottle is a great value, and the locking pump is incredibly convenient and helps prevent messes or accidental spills. The formula is long-lasting, smooth, non-sticky, fragrance-free, and doesn’t dry out quickly like some other lubricants I've tried. I also appreciate that it's waterproof and compatible with condoms. It feels high-quality and was comfortable to use. Overall, this has definitely exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely purchase it again and would love to try more products from this brand in the future. Highly recommended!

After literally trying everything in the market, we believe Uberlube and Valm are the top two silicone lubes in the market. Both products are very good, both are FDA 510(K) cleared, USA Made, and they almost have the same ingredients. Uberlube: dimethicone, dimethiconol, cyclomethicone, and vitamin E. Valm: dimethicone, dimethiconol and cyclopentasiloxane. As you can see, the main differences in the ingredients are that Uberlube adds vitamin E. Also, both have a slightly different silicone-based compounds. But when you read online, one compound is part of the other chemically speaking. They basically produce the same results. VERDICT Presentation/Marketing (Winner: Uberlube. The glass bottle is really beautiful and elegant. We keep one in one of our night stands all the time). Feel (Winner: both. For us, there is not a significant difference between the two products, even though Uberlube feels slightly oilier probably because of the vitamin E). Long-lasting (Winner: both. Really great products with amazing longevity). Price (Winner: Valm. Way better value per ounce, and more size options). Pump Mechanism (Winner: Valm for a couple of reasons. First, the pump actually has a normal spout that pushes the liquid away from the bottle to minimize spillage when you pump it out. This is an industry standard with most products that have pumps. Uberlube, on the other hand, does not have this type of spout, and the lube always ends up getting all over the bottle, which is glass and dangerously slippery. Terrible design on Uberlube’s part. Second, Valm provides a cap! You can easily travel with it.) Bottle design (Winner: Valm. Although the bottle is not as elegant as Uberlube’s, it is made of plastic, so you can travel with it. Uberlube’s glass bottle is just plain dangerous to travel with. The company forces you to buy their “travel” version, which is crazy overpriced for what it is. Another serious fail on Uberlube’s part). Overall Winner: Valm We still use both regularly, but navigate towards Valm more because the price, pump design, provided cap and portability. In third place comes Pjur, which we like a lot, but it is also expensive and has a terrible screw cap design. What’s going on with these lube companies and their caps??!!!!!!

It works as well as some of the higher-end brands but comes with better portability and a more practical bottle design. Let's cut to the chase and avoid any euphemisms and acknowledge we know what this is being used for. Pushing that aside I have nothing but compliments for the lubricant itself; it lasts longer than most others, it requires little in quantity to become lubricated and no reactions from prolonged use. This stuff is great for what you want to do with it assuming you are ready to clean up the mess. As for the bad news, the bottle seems to be somewhat defective as the top spot has been the source of a major leakage from the bottle; I lost about a fifth of the contents of the bottle into the cap when the bottle titled over and upon taking the cap off the lubricant went everywhere. Onto me, the floor, the chair, my desk, my clothes, everything was covered and it was very frustrating to clean up (water is not good enough; you need a surfactant or copious amounts of IPA and an absorbing pad). Ever since then, the spout has been finicky and often I find it slick despite leaving it standing up. Besides the fact that the spout has given me problems, which admittedly could have been an anomalous defect, and the stuff is incredibly hard to clean up, I have nothing but praise for this product.

Very happy with this product. It’s not messy like the other lubes and you can pump how much you need and it has a cap to put on top so nothing spills out. They got this one right.

I've tried a lot of lubes looking for nirvana, and have left reviews of several. Usually, I compare them to my former favorite (Wet Platinum) silicone lube, but they have always come up short. I really thought that Lush Silicone based lube would do the same, but I really like this lube better. If you are not familiar with silicone based lubes, they stay slippery for much longer than water based lubes, and they don't have to be reapplied because they have dried out. Silicone will also stay slippery in water as well, so let your imagination explore those possibilities. Usually, they don't get sticky, but a couple of them have. This lube is a little thicker viscosity than my old favorite, and it did not get sticky - the best of both worlds. My wife and I really liked it. Tasteless, with no scent, it is perfect for everything except toy play with toys also made of silicone. That is the case with all silicone based products. Use water based lube with those. I've never found a better lube than this one; it works as well, or better, than anything I have tried. Lush is a winner. Where it really stands out, is the bottle and pump. It really is note-worthy. I've experienced all kinds of spills, drips and mishaps with other silicone lubes. You don't need to use very much of it, andit was always difficult to not get too much. I even had one bottle completely empty out while being stored. What a mess! Also, usually the bottle is covered in lube and hard to hold on to. Not with the Lush bottle, it has a locking pump top that works really well. I can get just the amount I need with one or two pumps, and then you can slightly twist the pump top to lock it. SO CONVENIENT. My only suggestion would be that Lush create a non slip bottle, but then silicone makes ANYTHING slippery, so watch out and don't spill it on your floor.
