i have been through my fair share of trying to find a water fountain thats easy to clean while also durable for my cats. my last fountain would send me into rage fits trying to put it together after cleaning it, and even then i felt it wasnt fully clean. ill admit, the fountain was smaller than i expected, more of a single cat fountain that multiple cats, HOWEVER i do not mind the extra fill ups because i know my cats are drinking plenty of water! the wireless pump is by far the best part! i can completely empty the fountain and scrub every single part! it flow is so quiet! its durable, as my cats love to play in the fountain! its so easy to put together and maintain it almost makes me angry i didnt find it sooner!

UPDATE: I just ordered a 2nd one as it's the best out there & I've had them all. I did have an issue where the pump failed one day, (see orig review) but it's worked perfectly since, however I still don't trust it so I'm ordering a back up = more cleaning duties, but what are the chances that both will fail at the same time? And my cat is that important to me. I change the water every 2 days & clean all of it (including the impeller area which requires tweezers to remove, but this area should not be neglected! The nooks and crannies in there are tiny so tiny brushes and q-tips help.I avoid stainless steel dishes/bowls because that can cause cat acne (black bumps). I prefer ceramic over PABA-free plastic, but only 1 mfr offers that & the operation of their fountain is not acceptable to me as it doesn't offer continuous water flow which my cat needs. Petlibrio keeps putting out new models (battery operated) but none offer continuous flow mode & my cat takes a couple minutes to drink. And all the battery-operated fountains have only 2 modes - sensor or timer. And both of those modes shut off the flow after about 15 seconds so I can't get those. And the timers offer flow for 15 seconds every 15 minutes? How do you train a cat to read a clock? Ridiculous imho so I'll stick to this original model.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I LOVED LOVED LOVED this fountain until 2 days ago!My cat had been meowing at me for 2 days. She never does this. Turns out she had no water access!!Last nite I saw her go to the fountain, bend her head down & then walk away without drinking!Very odd until I noticed there was NO WATER IN THE TOP OF THE FOUNTAIN WHERE a cat drinks! It was bone dry, yet the base was full.Something (what?) happened. We didn't lose our electricity..So I dumped the water out, cleaned it again (it was cleaned 2 days prior) and it worked when I plugged it back in. It's still working but I will never trust it again...The cat isn't going to it for drinks since either.I have no idea why this happened.DO NOT HAVE THIS AS YOUR ONLY WATER SOURCE! (I do have bowls of water elsewhere but my cat has to have running/moving water or she refuses to drink.)There is a defect in this fountain because if it loses power or the pump fails, the water in the top where the cat drinks from, will go back down into the well, leaving the drinking area bone dry!!DO NOT BUY THIS OR ANY OTHER FOUNTAIN without ensuring there will still be water if it fails!!

My cat has never drank so much water before! I like to make sure it's at max fill all the time, so I put about 1 and 1/2 cups in it every other day. It is super quiet, I didn't even know it was running at first. It's easy to assemble and clean. It feels a bit cheaply made but still gets the job done! No leaks or breaks.Definitely worth the money if you have animals that don't otherwise drink water. My cat refused to drink when it was just in her bowl, constantly tried to bury it 🙃. Now she drinks like her life depends on it! Glad we purchased this!

Overall, I love this fountain. We’ve been using it for several months and our cat loves it too. It’s easy to clean, especially when compared to our old fountain that had a lot of tiny crevices that were impossible to clean. This comes apart completely and it’s shaped well so that there are no impossible-to-reach spots. The only downside is drainage. We actually had to replace the first fountain we bought because it overflowed and got the power port wet before we noticed it, so it stopped working. After replacing it, we started setting it on a towel to keep the base from sitting in water if it spilled and that has been critical. I think the issue is that the pump circulates water faster than it can drain through the filter or even the overflow drain, and I think that once the water rises above the drainage holes on either side of the spout, air can no longer get in and the water stops draining from the tray. We haven’t seen it completely overflow with our own eyes yet, but it does fill to the top pretty quickly, and I’m sure my cat just drinking out of it would spill a significant amount at that point. It would be nice to have a pump that could adjust the flow rate to slow it down a bit, or add extra drainage holes for overflow protection. That is my only recommendation for the company and precaution for cat parents.

The media could not be loaded.  Funciona como debería, tiene bastante capacidad de agua, es bonita y se limpia fácil, había leído en otros comentarios que filtra agua hacia la base y hasta el suelo y algo de eso es verdad, hoy al terminarse el agua la moví y tenía un charco dentro de la base y otro hasta abajo en el suelo donde está el cable, no sabía de dónde o cómo se filtra pero lo descubrí, es mí perro que es un cerdo a la hora de beber agua, saca mucha agua cuando bebe y por el diseño que tiene el agua escurre y cae dentro de la charola, moví la fuente a una mesa para que sólo beban mis gatos y se solucionó el problema, al perro le dejé otra con un diseño cerrado, sigue tirando el agua afuera de la fuente pero pues así ya no afecta

Es súper silenciosa y con el filtro ya no me tengo que preocupar de que el agua esté sucia.El único detalle que tuve es que el cuadrito del cargador con el que venía la fuente, se descompuso desde el primer día cuando lo desconecté del enchufe donde lo puse para probar y lo conecté donde iba a quedar la fuente (creo le hizo daño el desconectarlo, porque probé con otro aparato y tanto el primero y segundo enchufe funcionaban). Lo resolví utilizando un cargador que tenía extra de un celular que ya no usaba.

It was good at first until on its 12th month us, it stopped working all after the petlibro support suggestions and solutions. No use and sadly no warranty included so goodbye after 1year. :(

The media could not be loaded.  Es una lástima que no den la opción de cambio, la máquina que me mandaron no funcionó, me hicieron el reembolso pero yo la tomé en oferta y lo que realmente deseaba era tener el producto. Espero pronto volver a encontrarla a buen precio porque tengo grandes expectativas.
