I have been using these and other Govee products for 3 or 4 years, maybe longer now. I just ordered more Govee Smart Plug 15A, WiFi Bluetooth Single Outlets because I'm always figuring out another way to use them. I had just employed my last one when I found another place to put one so I ordered more. These outet/switches work well with Alexa. They are easily set up and managed with the Govee easy to use app. You name them, set them to work as lights or outlets, set a schedule for them to go off and on and more. Even if they are on a schedule turn them on or off at anytime with the app, Alexa, or there is a button you can use right on the plug. At any time you can have Alexa turn them on for 45 minutes, or two hours or whatever. You can change settings or manipulate them from anywhere with your phone or other device with the app. If you have switch/outlet on a schedule it will override Alexa at the next scheduled event. It's easy to get set them up in Alexa, create groups, like holiday lights. Then you can move any number of these in or out of that group, or groups any time you want. Anyway the possibility's are great. These work well on WiFi or Bluetooth, I run them almost exclusively on WiFi for my purposes. Range is great on 2.4 GIG WiFi signal. I use them to manage lights and lamps when I travel, holiday lights, inside and out. I have these outside in outdoor outlets with those plastic lids that fold down to cover the outlets and cords come out the bottom. I have 3 out there year round running a water fountain, outdoor lights, and a 1 1/2 HP pool pump, and in a little over 3 years not one has failed. I'm not saying you should use them outdoors, but I do and they have held up above and beyond my expectations. I likely have a couple of dozen running, some single, some duel outlets. On the duel outlets you can program/scheduel each side of the plug individually. The Govee app can handle a bunch of things, and they have more than just plugs/switches to help you manage your home from just about anywhere by WiFi. Great products and a good price. GO GOVEE!

I've started getting stingy with giving products 5 stars if they're truly not worth it, but after a year and a half of using these plugs, I feel like they've earned them. I originally bought the four pack even though I only needed one smart plug to control one light in our family room when we're out of town. I figured if they worked, having more than one plug might be helpful. I had lower expectations as I had never used smart plugs before but these things are fantastic. Easy to set up on the app, and so far, the plugs haven’t let us down. A few times, a plug has gone offline but only for a few seconds and then it's back to being available. It's VERY cool to be able to turn lights and appliances on and off remotely AND from anywhere. We were two states away and still able to control the lights with no issues. I use another one for our Christmas lights because we have to use an outlet in our detached garage to plug them in. I'm not being a princess but it really sucks to have to have run outside at night when it's cold to turn off the Christmas lights. It sounds kind of cheesy but it's pretty cool to be able to do all of that from an app now. Look guys, I'm on the cusp of Gen X so I'm riding the line of being a millennial but even still - growing up, this kind of stuff felt too sci-fi to ever be possible. It's cool and these plugs have been reliable so they get all five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have a few WIFI smart plugs in our home, and one of the ones we use to control our Christmas and animated decorations quit working after over 5 years of use. So, I ordered this 4-pack to replace the broken one and have a couple extras. These smart plugs are installed and set up with the Govee app and can also be controlled with Alexa. Routines are set up in the Govee app which is what I used for our Christmas tree and animated decorations. Although there aren't any instructions for use of the app, it really isn't very difficult to figure out. What I like about the Govee Smart Plugs is: 1) The design is great as they use one outlet of a receptacle leaving the other outlet open for use. They also work for 3-prong plugs. 2) Using the Govee app, setup for each smart plug was easy and connectivity to my router was flawless. Even in my 2-story house, I had no problems connecting to the router from any room. 3) These smart plugs are compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, and can be programmed with routines. I use routines to turn our Christmas tree and animated decorations off and on at specific times. This way I don't have to do it manually. Routines would also be useful to turn lights off and on at specific times when on vacation or away from home. 4) Another use for the smart plugs is to turn lighting in a room off or on through Alexa or Google Assistant. I use a few smart plugs in my bedroom since only one of the receptacles in the room is controlled by a switch on the wall. The other electrical outlets are behind a large dresser and behind the headboard of a heavy bed. I set up a smart plug for each lamp in the room, and set them up in the Alexa app in groups. So, I can turn on the dresser lamps individually or together, the nightstand lamp, or the light on the chest of drawers by simply telling Alexa to turn on the dresser, the nightstand or the butterfly, or I can tell Alexa to turn on the bedroom for all of the lights. This has been so convenient since I don't have to walk into a dark bedroom at night and find my way to a lamp switch to turn it on. The only downside is that I have no lighting in my bedroom when the WIFI is out. For these rare occasions, I keep a rechargeable light on my chest of drawers. One improvement I would like to see is the ability to set up routines using a 12 hour clock rather than with military time. Other than this, the app works very well. I would definitely recommend these smart plugs for routine lighting or for connection to Alexa. It's incredible how quickly you can become dependent on the conveniences provided by these smart plugs. Super easy to set up, the app makes setting on and off times so much easier than the old manual timer I had.

Neat product that make home automation rather easy. Plug the device in, use the Govee app to locate said device and add it to your home setup. Works on both Bluetooth and wi-fi. Follow the directions and within 5 minutes I had two of these installed and powering my devices. I now have the ability to remotely activate these appliances to give the impression I am around.
