The buffing wheel is mounted on a bench grinder or polishing machine. Polishing compound (wax) is applied—either by spraying or under pressure—onto the rotating wheel. Acting as a carrier for the compound, the wheel makes contact with the workpiece to achieve the desired surface finish. - Instructions for use: Before polishing, apply polishing compound (polishing wax or paste) to the cotton polishing wheel. Using a cotton wheel without compound can easily scratch the workpiece and cause increased shedding of loose threads. Dressing: After repeated use, residue may accumulate on the polishing wheel; a polishing rake can be used to dress the wheel's surface, allowing it to be used again - Quality: The polishing wheel is crafted from a single, solid piece of premium-quality cotton, featuring a genuine leather center mount. The stitching is uniform, ensuring durability. The white polishing wheel is soft and fine, enhancing the luster of your items, while the yellow polishing wheel removes surface impurities. Note: Some loose fibers may shed during initial use - Size: 6 inch diameter, 1/2 inch arbor. White polishing wheel thickness: about 12mm (50 layers) Yellow polishing wheel thickness: about 17mm (45 layers), standard size makes it suitable for general bench grinders and polishing machines. - After-sales: If you have any questions about our products, please feel free to contact us.
