The media could not be loaded. WOW.I see mixed reviews. I can only comment about what I ordered (arrived 4/23/24, and tried right away). I was concerned when I opened the box and saw loose medjool dates in the box. Just a cardboard flip top box with medjool dates inside. They sit on a piece of parchment, but not really wrapped. I expected these to be dry, but I was so very wrong on that impression.These are SO MOIST that they melt in my mouth. They are the freshest I have ever had. I have had a lot of medjool dates from various brands bought at various places for many many years. I never encountered one that was CREAMY.I'm not sure how I feel about that, haha. I like medjool dates for their slight chew. I ALWAYS buy medjool dates with their pit to help ensure moistness. I like to open the date, take out the pit, then replace it with a Brazil nut (about same size as the pit, maybe little larger) or other nut. Then close it up and eat it as is. Takes on a candy bar like taste and texture. Dip in some chocolate? omg..The extra moist, extra soft, extra creaminess of these dates might throw me off in how I want to use it. It doesn't give me the "mouth feel" that I prefer. I may have to let these age, haha!! But I cant deny that these are very tasty, very fresh tasting, and would work so well in smoothies, desserts, oat meal etc where the extra smooth texture is desired. Maybe making energy balls or snack balls. Would be perfect for that.If preferring more chew, then let these age a bit.

Consistent quality and good flavor. The dates are plump and store well. The dates arrive in a timely manner and well packaged. Not as sweet as fully dried dates but have a nice texture, subtle flavor and make wonderful date shakes.

These dates have pits. But there is a so much fruit flesh that they are easy to detect and easy to remove. Plump, slightly cream, a little fishy, a little caramely, and a touch of earthiness. A unique date that is not super chewy but provides a satisfying chew. Would buy again! Packaging is a little “raw”. Take sticker off box, open box lift a small piece of parchment paper and there are the loose dates! But they are so fresh and delicious!! Recommend! Great customer service too!!

Freshest, highest quality dates I’ve ever had. These are perfect to snack on or use in recipes. I did the flatted chocolate bar recipe with them and they’re so fresh that they flatten smooth and easy. Obsessed and will order again soon!

Absolutely the BEST dates. Worth every penny. Big, juicy, delicious and most importantly ORGANIC. I put them in the fridge and when I'm craving an after dinner sweet, I eat a couple of these and they taste like caramel. MMMmmm..Thank you guys!

I ordered a 1 pound box this time instead of 2 pounds. The dates were much fresher, plump and delicious. Texture was perfect and there was absolutely no mold (as I read about in other reviews of different products). I wrote a previous review about the smaller, more dried dates, but these were very good. I don’t know if it’s because of the size box I bought or the season. I trust this ranch’s product.
