Further to the above review, the teapot has broken, whilst on the electric stove. Such a waste of money!

Light weight and heat resistant. The handle doesn't get heated so it's easy to pour the tea. The diffuser gives options to try out different versions of tea. However, I would have preferred a larger quantity. Too delicate so I have to be extra careful while cleaning it. Although it is dishwasher safe, I still handwash.

Nicely packaged. Really good size. I have the 1500 ml size, which is what I was looking for for quite some time. I wanted something that was larger than the usual itty bitty tea pots. I wanted something I could use for making a good amount of tea, but also could be used as vessel for other needs. I didnt want the typical tea pot shape. This is perfect. Holds 50 ounces! The borosilicate glass is heat resistant and extra durable. I have other kitchen items using this material, and it is great. I ABSOLUTELY use this on GAS stove top. I start with heat on low, then gently bring it up. I dont bother with a high setting as the water will come to a boil at lower temps. However, I use it primarily with electric kettle boiled water. I mainly wanted a tea pot that I can add hot water to, rather than use to heat water. I either use loose tea or sometimes coffee in the filter. The filter, ring, and lid all pop out with ease for cleaning and drying. Can pop out the filter and just use the ring and lid as the topper if you want to use blooming tea. Can use as a sun tea pot. And pretty much anything you want to use it for. Now, I have only been using it a couple of week, pretty much daily. Most of the time I have just added hot water to it. I dont often microwave, and I only tried it on my gas stove top. I havent bothered using it on the stove top because I dont like adding heat to my house when it is already hot and humid out (no air conditioning). Nice for in winter, but we're a ways off from that. And so given my short experience with it so far.. I am in LOVE, and it is working out as well as I anticipated. I LOVE the size and shape. SO glad I found it while searching for others.

The product is not safe to use on Gas stove. I suggest not to buy this product
